It’s June 2022 post release of C/C, both John and Colin are no longer with the band . I find something is grossly lacking in the band, but they go on and the fans are happy that thay made something after 12 years

I absolutely love Steven Wilson's voice, but John Wesley's voice is out of this world. A very irish voice that gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. I darn miss this guy in the band!

I love Porcupine Tree in any of their versions. I love other experiments with Steve Wilson behind (like for example i Blackfield) too. This piece of music is simply wonderful. Thank you for posting it!
Wesley's vocals are truly great and almost make it a different song, but while both versions are fantastic in their own right, I have to say I really liked how Steven's much more ethereal interpretation beautifully enhanced the song's dream-like texture. And of course, needless to say, Harrison's drums are a fantastic addition as well.

Jonh Wesley has never been given his due for his contributions to the band, and the best version of this song (with Gavin). I hope they will bring him back, along with Colin (but that's another story) 🤔

It startled me, but Wesley was always a good secondary vocalist, and I think I like the live version of My Ashes better because of him.

I was blessed to be able to see them live in New York six times between 2006-2010. Every moment was catharsis. Wouldn’t trade it for the world.
I was fortunate to see them at radio city during their last tour . They were amazing, hope they reunite someday.
