It's stupid to bring in a big ass group of people to upset the dragon when you're looking for one rider. Daemon carefully went in their alone and sang to him.
I must admit I'm a little confused as to why silverwing chose ulf, I also wish we could see what otto is doing this season, since he got dismissed we got nothing from him, plus having him talk to see daeron and tessarion would be so good
I agree. They had the perfect way to introduce Daeron, through Otto. The great thing about GoT's early seasons is they integrated so many different characters into the story, with actual things to do.
@@madisenb2097 Some channels were complaining about issues with views last year, and I figured that was it. But I think now that there are times UA-cam performs maintenance or analyzes and audits channels and it can impact things. For instance you reported the like problem and now this video is glitchy, under performing all the videos from this season. On my dashboard my last video, the missing characters one, is showing 1.2k from my end, which is where it was yesterday but on UA-cam it dropped to 980. I don't get it.
The Greens not knowing the Blacks were gathering up dragonseeds bothered me at first, but I decided that Larys let it happen. From what we know of Larys from the show and books, we know he definitely has that Littlefinger vibe, but to him, chaos isn't a ladder, it's a door to opportunity. And I'm kind of glad they didn't drag out the "tryouts." 1: It was obvious to non-book readers that Ulf and Hugh would be the new riders. 2: That was a damn good scene. Speaking of Hugh, can't wait to see how they write his character's development, so to speak.
I could accept Larys not letting it out. The problem for me though was that it was too large of a group and not, just taking Hugh and Ulf out. When you have something as open as that, bringing dozens of people, it means hundreds know and in that city where they just had food riots, people are going to pass on the info just to get something better for themselves. So it goes beyond just a whisper Larys would hear, to a shout that others would become aware of. I wish they had just kept it as it was in the book, and using people actually at Dragonstone. I thought when the two were introduced they'd work their way there on their own.
@@VirtualSatyr It isn't helping. I'm also reassessing the departure of Miguel Sapcochnik. Originally, I was not as concerned about him leaving, feeling he was more the big spectacle guy. But the differences between Seasons 1 and 2 are too glaring.
@@reelworld1I think it’s just stupid on Rhaenyras part. Letting strangers from kings landing into your home and claim a weapon of mass destruction is beyond stupid. In the book they at least only accepted people from Dragonstone and Drift Mark for the try outs. And don’t get me started on passing a letter through 10 hands instead of sending someone directly to Elinda 😂
@@GaryCrant Prior to the start of the season Martin made a comment on his blog deriding those that take the work of an author for TV, or a film, and make it their own. He said 999 times out of 1000 they make it worse. At the time I didn't believe he was talking about HotD but now I do. And this is one of a number of examples this season. By changing it from Dragonstone to KL they created problems for themselves they did not have the capacity to solve, and weakened the story.
Both sets, the fake ones that were circulating and then the recent leaks. I'm glad that the original ones were false. Taking events out of sequence would've been a disaster. I've seen the Aegon/Larys clip which was good, and then what I assume is the final montage, which will depend largely on what came before it.
Very good video. Good points all over
Vhagar's like if you wake me up Aemond we better kill something.

It’s a win win. You get riders possibly but also food for the dragon for free 🤷🏼♂️
The last scene where Rhaenyra was standing in the open and staring off at Vhagar with the dragons behind her was cringe.
It was like a Marvel scene

I loved the Dragons.
Also, awesome thumbnail this time 😊

Good video. The like button though is glitching and didn't record mine. 🤷♀ lol
That's odd. I had a video last year, where for some reason the views went backwards. It lost around 300 views.
@@reelworld1 Yikes, how does that happen?

@@madisenb2097 Not too often. I've noticed it every 3 or 4 months or so.
