- Today we're taking a look at another repo show, specifically one that has been requested more than any other. That being South Beach Tow, arguably the wildest show on TV. We've covered a lot of wacky repo reality shows like Lizard Lick Towing, Airplane Repo, and... now that I'm typing this out I have only done those to. Anyways this one is a wild card so enjoy!

Facts
Bernice gets assaulted with a deadly weapon and the driver commits felony hit and run, and her boss watches it happen, and it's all filmed by a cable tv crew, and she can't get worker's comp out of it? Damn, this might be as real as it gets.

Bernice is the realist thing about this show, my childhood father met her at the Dolphins stadium back in like 2010. He called out to her to say hi, but she just looked at him with a straight face (of course with the shades on). So he hit her with that "Come on Bernice don't do me like that, let me get a photo"

This show was one of those gems where you know they started running out of interesting stuff with the plots and went “fuck it, let’s just make Bernice the boogeyman of Florida” and I’m so glad they did. It’s so hilariously bad that I’ve seen more episodes than I’d like to admit.

I love the added Micheal Myers music for Bernice. That clip always has me in tears but that leveled it up for me.

Dude!!!!!!!! As a kid of like 9 years old, I ventured onto a random TV station and discovered this gem of a show and nobody else knew wtf I was talking about and then before I knew it, it was gone
I just need to tell someone that I live so close to Lizard Lick that the reserved parking lot signs threaten that you'll be towed by Lizard Lick Towing.
They should have those kinds of signs for everything.

My friend and I talked about this show recently. It was definitely the fakest of these kinds of shows. The funny thing is that it was fairly normal at first, but it's like when Bernice, Jerome, and Perez were added in the cast it just got faker and faker.
Unfortunately this company is very real and as big of asshats as you would expect. Its Miami after all.

Everytime i saw one of the episodes of South Beach Tow, im pretty sure i always thought back to it as a total fever dream - i might've been 8, but it felt like i took the hardest edibles the second it came on.
I love how she's surrounded by car jacks and jack stands and is like "What the hell do you want me to do?" 😂🤣
My boss has a few cognitive disabilities, and he watches shows like this all the time and emulates that as like “normal work problem solving”😂 so he’s always calling other ppl like “WE GOT A SERIOUS PROBLEM CALL ME BACK RIGHT NOW!” over like tiny little things and treating work like it’s this or storage wars or pawnstars, we all know him so we just work around it, but it’s so funny. He’s like a walking reality tv show work bro

Y'all I worked at a towing company for several years as a dispatcher. We didn't do a whole lotta repos, cuz there's not as much $$ in it as you get from hauling for big oil. But the best repo we did was sweet karma for me & my ex. We repo'd a corvette from my ex-husband's boss & this man was seriously terrible. Threatened to fire him ON OUR WEDDING DAY if he didn't come in after the vows. But that POS lost his vette later on.
To be fair as someone who lives in Florida pretty much going outside for a walk is a life or death situation because everyone is crazy here

So after the show ended Bernice did an interview where she said all the interactions on the show were wildly exaggerated reenactments of events that did occur over the staff's time working as a tow company.
My cousin used to live with me for a couple of years here in Miami, this video brought back so many memories of us staying up and watching this together!
But the dude's wife has no reason to not think he's being sneaky. If he just said "Yeah, I misplaced my ring" She'd probably understand. But instead he just said "I'm just making money.....That's why I haven't been home in 2 days.....nothing suspicious here."
