How long do I have to wait for new stems to regenerate after I've cut some stems from our plant in the yard?

wait will the stems flower even if they are cut away from the bulb? I thought they needed to stay attached to the bulb and the roots in order to flower

Once they reach a certain cut stage you can cut them from the bulb and they'll continue to open and develop. We sell lots of cut amaryllis from Holland.
