    I watch many of these reviews and NO one does a more thorough job of explaining and easy to understand reviews. In my opinion, he is the ultimate go to expert in thermal

    Hello, how are you
    I am now installing this scope on an AKM weapon, but when shooting, the scope turns off, then we turn it back on, then it turns off again sometimes.

    I wonder if there is a distance meter in the pulsar talion Q35 and Q38 series.

    • @foxoptic5887
      @foxoptic5887  4 місяці тому

      There is a stadiametric measurement/estimation feature capable of reading in Yards or Meters.

    I’ve never used anything like this.
    How well does it zero and hold zero compared to a good glass scope?

    Good review very informative. Talion vs the adder for image quality??

  • @Sobol.S

    many claim that the device turns off the power at the moment of the shot (please tell me, is this really the case, perhaps the Pulsar problem has been eliminated?

      The first batch of the Talion's did have some issue with this. The battery locking system has since been redesigned, and the issue has been resolved. They added a 'detent' stop to the end of the latch travel that essentially "locks" the lever in position, ensuring it can't back up.

      @@Sobol.S I doubt you will have any issues. I only had a few that experienced this, even with the original design.

    How does this compare to the agm rattler ts35-384

    • @foxoptic5887
      @foxoptic5887  8 місяців тому

      The Talion is much better all around. Better image, recoil resistance, better features, more mounting flexibility, more intuitive, and it has a fully rechargeable power system.

    What would u suggest this or the adder. I hunt coyotes, shoot out to about 250. I also scan with a pulsar xm30f so I won't need to use this to scan or detect out far.

      Talion. The button control pad on the Adder is horrible, especially in cold weather. The Adder does have a better image in good conditions and about the same in poor conditions. The Talion has less magnification but better FOV. Talion is designed and made in Europe, Adder is pretty much a straight up Chinese copy attempt at Pulsar Thermion. If you really want top quality the more expensive Thermion 2 XQ50 is what the Adder performance specs attempt to replicate, however, it falls far short of that unit. Personally, I think time will prove a difference in quality.

    Travis I have a question. I have the XQ38 mounted on an air-rifle the scope produces a beautiful image. However it turns off after I fire a single shot. Have you ever had a similiar issue?

    • @foxoptic5887
      @foxoptic5887  Рік тому

      Try removing the "removable" battery under what appears to be an elevation turret cap and see if it still does it on just the internal battery. I am guessing that the removable battery is breaking contact and causing the scope to restart. If it operates correctly on the internal alone, check the battery and scope contacts, and or you might try a small piece of foam shim material?1/8 ^ neoprene works well on top of the battery and under the cap to add some pressure and dampening.
