My AGM Adder arrived; I sighted in to 300 yds. with 4 shots and 5 to confirm. I’m sure I could have sighted in with fewer shots if I were more tech savvy however; I was pleased seeing it was my 1st thermal experience. I used the Adder the 1st night for a few hours out back on a corn field just to get some time with the scope, I knew we didn’t have any yotes around the house. The 1st night out about 7:15 a yote came in to my caller however; he didn’t pause long enough for me to get a shot. About 20-30 minutes later a 2nd yote came in about 150 yds out, and he never left. I couldn’t be happier with my AGM Adder TS50-384 the clarity to ID and detect are outstanding and I couldn’t be more pleased. . If you want a badass thermal for yotes the AGM Adder fills the bill.
@@TyThur111386 500 yds for a heat signature on a yote or deer is no problem. i know I can pick up deer at 900 yds because there's a silo off the back porch at 914yds.
@@theNfl_Esq I have 2 AGM rattlers which are very similar to the Adders in this video. In my opinion the Pulsars have a better and more complete picture. They offer much better background clarity over the AGM. Pulsars also have more options for color palettes and more settings for contrast/brightness. The AGMs do an excellent job for me as my first thermals but when I’m ready for new it’ll be a Pulsar.
I think there's a little added comfort in having the included ADM mount. C_Does did a comparison of four different mounts for how well they return to zero taking it off and on. The ADM did the best of the four. Perfect returns.
A 640 resolution Adder, whichever magnification fits your needs better. But really even the 384 model does a phenomenal job and the price makes it hard to pass up. Thanks for watching!
These days the prices of thermals are finally going in the right direction... I just added the AGM Adder TS50-640 to my other thermals the Pulsar Thermion XP50 and the iRay MH25 that I run on a helmet. Thermals are definitely expensive but when it comes to scanning and shooting at night they can't be topped. But both of these thermals are worth the money I haven't had mine for long but so far I've been impressed. Great video as always keepem coming brother!!!
It’s definitely nice to see quality thermals coming down in price but it has open the door for more night hunters stomping on our property’s claiming to be professionals lol, there is a lot more accidental shootings across the night hunting community recently also. It’s a very disciplined sport to hunt with with thermals and we always use a spotter with nods behind our shooters to keep them in there shooting zones and when to stop shooting, anyone who night hunts with thermals and nightvision understand where I’m coming from.
Another thing to mention. When buying thermal the start magnification plays a large roll in the field of view. A 2x mag start and a 3x mag start will have a big difference in field of view. The 3x will have a lot less so consider that when hunting at night if you need to scan
Great video. The Power button etc looks flush on top , was it hard to feel in the dark? Thinking bout getting this scope for coyote hunting this winter, just not sure about those small flush buttons for cold temps in the dark 🤔. Also , do you think the 640 has that much more of an advantage on the 384 to identify a coyote out passed 200 yards ? Thanks!
Wonder if a non recording model would be significantly cheaper. I don't really need recording capability. If they could offer a model without that feature for significantly cheaper would result in a whole lot more sales from guys like myself.
Love your vids! I think you are mistaken on the objective lens vs field-of-view.... I've got a ts-25 Rattler and my friend has the ts-35 and mine definitely has a wider field of view.
Well heavy brush is going to be an obstruction, you do need a clearing or a green field ideally. But as far as heat, this was filmed just after dark in August in Alabama. It was pretty hot, I know I was sweating lol. Thanks for watching.
......... finally a video on something I can legally have in my state....... All it will cost me is $2500/$4000 and my marriage when the CC bill hits the mailbox😬

So thermals for zombies? You said they are better for scanning b/c they highlight anything living. Well the undead are "un" dead, so will it highlight them is the real question we want to know.

The Pulsar XQ 35 Thermion 2 640 is around $4k but it’s a bit heavy. The Adder is made in China and is a little cheaper. However I feel like the Thermion is slightly better and may be the better deal. The major drawback on both is there’s no LRF. Which is really mandatory imho. You have to go to the Thermion 2 Q50 pro lrf and it’s over 5k. Also the AGM makes the rattler which is lighter
384 with a smaller magnification so you have a larger view so you don't have to hunt for prey...larger magnification if you hunt at night out pass 100 yards

Basically 384 resolution is equal to watching 480 resolution and 640 is the 4k of scope thermal
