- I have recently got a more comfortable kayak so I can be more mobile while fishing in calm waters, with the more comfortable seating position making a massive difference.

I have also started fishing in the Action Fishing Tournaments which has been great fun, and I have met some people who have really helped my fishing and will likely become good friends.
Today I am prefishing the Brooklyn round, trying to fish the extremeties of my range on comp day.
Conditions were great and I had pretty good success on a few fish on cheap cranks and Reprobait prawns.

It's a recent purchase considering I want to spend longer hours on the water to try tournaments out.. much more comfortable and you can just stand up when you need to stretch your legs 🦵 ✨️

Rigging of the plastic, 100% matters. Can be the difference between a spinning lure and a "natural presentation".
I feel like fish hate the spin! Maybe if I rig better they other lures won't spin!

Hi mate, I will be launching from Brooklyn boat ramp this Saturday late afternoon. Is the water still dirty and was there a lot of debris about? I have heard report, which is two weeks old now

That is when I was there. I think it is tidying up. I had heard from someone that they saw a spar bath floating down the river shortly after the extreme rain. When I was there it was just a few sticks
I personally think that rigging does matter when fishing to bream but no so much for flatties
That may be why I didn't catch many!

Do you ever take your Lynx offshore? How do you find it compares to your other kayak on the rivers?
I don't and Don't think I will. I calm water it is amazing, I can stand, move around and whatever. But when there is sharp waves like a wake from a boat, it tips a lot and can become unstable. The other kayak would be near impossible to tip but you can't stand or move around as much is all
