@@cballzoutdoors i believe the metals are there but not at the levels they say also why only one side of the harbour bridge when we have tidal flow tonnes of boat traffic and not to forget fish do not sit still they migrate all throughout the harbour and also migrate out to the reefs to breed.i believe its partially a scare tactic. Think about it. Also fish do have levels of mercury naturally

Reasons for this Tidal flow espec bigger tides Boat traffic-large amounts on the harbour Fish migrate all throughout the harbour and its tributaries and some go offshore to breed on the reefs Fish naturally have levels of mercury etc some more so when breeding. Why only west of the bridge

Awesome and thank you! It is the season for it at the moment with lots of pelagic fish around. My best land based advice is to stay mobile, work the water from top to bottom and the person who catches the most fish is the one who keeps their lure in the water (keep casting)

Agree! The water is so deep though that jigging feels like it the right thing to do! I gave up after 4 lost one's and a horrid line issue

I think the rods etc don't really matter in spots like this.. 8-10lb line is plenty for fish this size in spots this small. Anything bigger and you would struggle to get your small.lures in

@F11sh-f2h the key feature for that style is short. I had a rod that has a mac cast of 6g and I think something heavier would be better so I could throw up to 15 or so grams

Great question. I would say no conditions are safe and you need to always manage risk. Regarding flipping, I flipped my first kayak a few times and it turned out it was just too small. Since getting a much bigger hobie I haven't been close to flipping even once.

Hey Mark, I've been to comps and seen a variety of cart methods but I think mine is easiest when solo. I just put the cart in while the kayak is in knee deep water. No risk of spilling stuff off the kayak but you just get a little wet

Interesting strategy, the tailor was captured off the bust up however just this weekend i tried a baby surface lure in a similar situation and a salmon choked it!!

@@cballzoutdoors ua-cam.com/video/WjGS6SjfDUs/v-deo.html My friend has been hooking lots of kings with this technique. It works even when there is no bust up. Probably, it triggers fish's predatory instincts seeing a baitfish swimming like crazy.

I was kayak fishing in bobbin head marina 2 weeks ago and caught 15 tailor on a baitjunkie 2.5 minnow. The tailor were busting up like crazy. To bad I got kicked out😭💀

Fingers crossed for the predator theory - will be testing it bright and early tomorrow morning
