Great video! I've been using my Simplex for a few years now. Running the stock coil. Been thinking about getting an sp 24, so this was a great piece of info for me. It really does cut down on the chatter. GL and HH!
I have been watching your videos for over a year and the other two lot of info from you and the them keep the videos coming I learned so much from you simplex really rocks
Better? Well, they are for different types of areas. If you like hunting in the water, the SP24 coil is great for target separation and is about the same width as the average sand scoop. They are both good for really trashy area like parks. They lose a little bit of depth compared to the stock coil. Maybe an inch.
I went digging yesterday a couple of miles from home and got out and got all set up detector headphones pointer bag and belt. Reach in the back of my truck and no shovel. I had a had a hand digger but still went back for my shovel. Probably would have done the same for a hat.. 😆 Man was it a great lesson for me. I can't believe that you did it too. Makes me wonder how many other diggers done the same thing. Unreal.. pretty cool 👍 thanks
Yeah, thanks for this testing. I'm goin' with the sp24, it is probably the slimline design that is causing the less chatter than the wide sp22. Both are nice though. Just subscribed and thumbed up.
When I first got the simplex it had the 2.77 version I was extremely disappointed I wasn’t finding the stuff I thought I should find I found I could take a 50 cal musket ball place it on the surface of the ground and I’m guessing because of minerals in the ground it made it sound like iron or foil well I upgraded to the 2.78 and Mr. let me tell yea the results brought a smile to my face I could bury that same musket ball pretty deep and still get a good response I think it’s something in the iron bias the updatable machines are the way to go
Thank You for doing this.. I wander if the Sp22 coil would be better in field mode as the sp24 is more designed For trashy parks and better separation ... Keep up the great videos..
Dude you were on a roll by leaving your digger and your hat at home.ibhaye when that happens. I like that elliptical coil looks very sharp. Have you ever taken the bottom of the cool cover to clean the junk trapped in there
Your video is good what's good information but a bucket test with dirt in it like some people do would be the ultimate

If you have already gotten the SP24, I hope you have been finding great relics and coins!
I’m behind on a few comments. 🤦♂️
Everytime I watch you MDing it gives me the itch to go!! Thanks for all the tips too.
I’m glad my videos can do that. It’s supposed to rain tomorrow, but I may still try to get out.

Hey that’s great! Thanks for being a supporter of the channel. It means a lot.
Thanks for the shout out. Much appreciated
You guys deserve it. I like to watch the two channels grow
The simplex guru has to have some of best videos to pick up information from
Yes. I haven’t seen her put out a video in almost two years, but you are correct.
That's a great idea with the rock..I need to do that so I don't forget where the center is.
Or a poker chip..lol
Those look like excellent coils! You don't seem to lose any depth with them!💖
No they do very well.
Are these better than the stock coil? Thanks

It happens quite a few times, unfortunately. Thanks for watching. Happy digging.
I only remove the detectors when I'm done . The rest stays in the car .
Nice comparison video. Gonna check out the other two channels mentioned. Take care.
Awesome!! They are good ones.
Thanks for the comparison video. What about the SP35 coil?
Great question! Tuesday’s video will address that.
Good video and test of the coils. Thanks for sharing with us.😎⛏⛏🔥🔥
Thanks. I believe it will be a help to some.

Been looking into getting a small coil for my simplex, I was leaning towards the sp-24, I think this helps me stay on that path
I agree with you there. I like the 24 a little better. As a matter of fact I went ahead and bought another one yesterday.
Those coils are cool wouldn't one have advantage over depending on the firmware you're using??
it may. but after much more comparisons, I like the SP24 coil better, even if it was running on the 2.77 firmware. more testing will be required
Great comparison video! I do follow Aqualand Relics! Will have to ck out the Simplex Guru. Have a blessed weekend!
Yeah she is awesome too. Thanks for watching

That’s very interesting!! My original Simplex is 2.77. The new one is 2.78. I’ll have to keep that in mind to test that.
Bueno y cual es mejor ?
thanks for watching.
can anfibio 14 be used PS24 coil?
No. The Anfibio detector has its own series of coils that start with AF.
No. If a coil has SP in its name it only works on the Simplex.

That’s a great question. I’ll have to put that on my list to try.
Nice comparison.
Thank you.
God Bless my Brother!
thank you
Great video
Thank you.

Yeah, very forgetful that day 😂 I do clean them out, but not after every outing.

Correct me if I'm wrong but your belly is getting bigger .
