Horses are OK, it's their visitors they bring with them that are a pain.........horsefly bites...lovely. The item at 8:14 looks like a thermostatic switch.
THANK YOU, AARON, FOR THIS VIDEO! FYI: RECENTLY, I JUST BOUGHT A NEW METAL DETECTOR, (NOKTA SIMPLEX LITE), BECAUSE I RECENTLY LOST A LARGE WAD/HANDFUL OF KEYS, WHILE I WAS HIKING THRU A LARGE TALLGRASS PRAIRIE. I HAVE A FAIR IDEA WHER I MAY HAVE LOST THEM, BUT, I WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO SEE THEM, BECAUSE THE GRASS IS AT LEAST KNEE DEEP, OFTEN TALLER.... SO, I HOPE TO BE ABLE TO LOCATE/FIND, AND RETRIEVE THEM, ASAP, BY SWEEPING ACROSS THIS FIELD, UNTIL I DO, ...PERHAPS THEY WILL BURN OFF THE DEAD GRASS STALKS, BY SPRINGTIME,... THAT'D MAKE IT MUCH EASIER, FOR ME TO SEARCH!!!...
Big lead thing is a saddle boss or mount The coin at 23mins is a ships half pennie I've learned to dig some way behind where the simplex pinpointed says to dig as I used to mark coins with the spade but not any more I dont
hi there simplex+ user here not intrested in upgrading yet well happy with how easy it to use i have the stock coil would it be worth getting the sp 24 coil for field and plowed use
08 looks to be a bolt on thermostat from a boiler then you had the readings/gauge with numbers looks also like gauges from an old oil boiler, still watching, plug from a belfast sink
I know you won't be the first detectorist to have clipped a coin in the side wall - I know I have - but is that the fault of a poor-pinpointing machine, or the carelessness of the user?
Great to come across someone using the simplex+ as I’m still learning about mine & not quite ready to upgrade. Cheers👍🏻
that piece at 15:00 is similar to what I found last year. Good find. I think it could have been a cloak clasp 🤔

PERHAPS YOU COULD CARRY A PLASTIC JAR OF "SOLVET/OIL/DETERGENT WATER) AND A SOFT TOOTHBRUSH, TO HELP CLEAN ANY COINS/JEWELRY, WHILE OUT, IN THE FIELD?
The relic at 14:50 looks like a horse bridle rosette. Look around and see if there's any horses around, lol...
Can you tell something about the coil. Like is it teeper or whats the plus side of changing it
As a Newby I always look forward to watching your videos and for some strange reason seem to be saying bugger a lot now.
Thanks.

The sp24 is a game changer. Well worth the investment
interesting design on that large thingy lol looked like it had some sort of attachment spikes on the back, weird thing indeed

Aaron can I please ask where you got the Sud James clip"its a pound" love it.
I found a lot of great stuff with the simplex including a 18 k gold pocket watch but the Legend can’t be beat
That is an old brass bath/sink plug. My grandma has an antique sink that has that exact mind of plug! Awesome hunt man!!
Maybe you need to attach your camera.on your chest so you have two glands to use
Cool man ⚓️🧲👍
I may drag my simplex out of retirement just for S&Giggles. Nice selection of finds.

It's a Bridal Roset
Aaaaaahh... the Simplex! I need to take mine for a walk again, soon! As for horses sharing a field... I'm with you - I just don't like it!
