THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! I bought a 1/10 RWD RC drift car and man, I was getting bummed out until I watched this video. By the way, I have been following your channel for about 3 years now and I gotta say, you're amazing at what you do! 1 million thank you's 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Hi boss I'm having difficulty in selecting a receiver for my 1_28 k989 modified for space saving, I have a fs gt3b transmitter?? Which receiver should I use??
There's a small AFHDS receiver on GT55. www.gt55racing.com/products/gt55racing-flysky-afhds-micro-4ch-receiver-gtr-29?DIST=RUZBGw%3D%3D There's a version with gyro too. www.gt55racing.com/products/gt55racing-flysky-afhds-built-in-gyro-nano-rx?DIST=RUZBGw%3D%3D
Check the firmware to see which one you are on. If it's an older version than 2.0.93 you will need to update it. Otherwise there is a receiver updater for Windows PC. You can use that too. Here's the link. 1drv.ms/u/s!AjPVS3_BWe3vhSzvxajQ1U43hi6X?e=FCuXnD Here's how to use the receiver updater. It's in the GMR video. ua-cam.com/video/SjJkjXrSVI0/v-deo.html
Hi iam new in this hobby and I want to buy this transmitter but I don't see any video talking about the Gyro in the reciver or this transmitter and the reciver has not Gyro bcs I using a radiolink transmitter and the reciver has Gyro integrated please let me know thanks
This transmitter only has one receiver with sort of integrated gyro, the GMR micro receiver and the gyro unit is sold separately so it's a separated unit anyway. Unfortunately the gyro for it is very hard to find and I doubt it would be as good as a dedicated gyro unit we use for RWD drifting.
The classic is for the standard receivers like FGr4, 4S and 4P. The enhanced mode is for the newer receivers with onboard gyro or other functions like GMR (it doesn't have onboard gyro but it has a port for the gyro module) and INr4-GYB.
Got it a while back, great car to drive. ua-cam.com/video/Kq8F6cZfoqk/v-deo.html It's my testing platform whenever I got a new motor or ESC because the handling is great. Plastic is a bit soft so be careful when screwing things down.
Not really, they are different types to suite the cars better. The FGR4 is a big one with antenna so it has more range but with the big footprint. The FGR4S is antenna less and smaller so it'll suite a car with less room for components.
I’m having so much trouble out of my Flysky Noble! I upgraded to 2.0.99 and I can only use my Toyota 4x4. I can’t connect my MA-030EVO even if I select it in the settings. Also I cannot update or use the FGr4S V2 receivers. I’ve been trying all morning and all night
The EVO will also need the receiver update, the method is the same as GMR: hold the button, turn it on and keep holding for about 10 seconds for it to go into update mode and then update from the transmitter. As for FGr4S, check which plug you put it in. It's the signal side of bind and CH4.
Check if it can bind with the transmitter already? If so you don't need to update. Otherwise there is an update tool for the PC you can try too. www.flysky-cn.com/nb4-xiazai
@@MGK.RC.OFFICIAL It's a Windows PC program to update the receivers. We use it mainly for GMR and Mini-Z EVO but it also works for all the receivers. Here's the tutorial ua-cam.com/video/SjJkjXrSVI0/v-deo.html . Here's the program www.flysky-cn.com/s/Flysky-Reciver-Upgrade-Updater-V1015_EN.rar .

@@BeaversHobby escuse my stupidity, where do I find AFHDS 3? Is this a feature on the radio? If so, I went through all the apps on the radio and I was unable to find it. If you can shine some light, I would highly appreciate it.
@@armandomorales313 AFHDS 3 is the protocol of this radio. It's not a feature and you don't have to set it. You can select the mode between 1-way (no telemetry, no feedback) and 2-way (with telemetry, basically you will see the receiver voltage and it will tell you if the binding is complete). This is in Model > Radio Frequency Setup.
@@BeaversHobby thanks for the help. Radio is set but once I turn the car on, the light on the receiver does not blink like it should. The red light stays on and it will not bind. Do you think I have a bad receiver?
@@armandomorales313 If you insert the bind plug to the receiver, does it go into bind mode? If not then the receiver is defective. Yes, you can. It's the same 3-wire system just with a different plug. FGR4S uses standard JR/Futaba so for some ESC or servo you might need to convert the plug. Most of the gyros come with both JR and JST-ZH so it'll work wiithout any conversion.

Check the gyro direction. If it turns into the corner by itself then usually the gyro direction is opposite and doesn't counter steer. Next, check the front wheels to see that you they can freely spin even at full lock. Also check the tyres contact as well that the wheels don't lift when you turn.
