How to update and bind a flysky FGR4 AND FGR4S reciever

- Forgive my atrociously bad English with thing being bound and binded 🤣🤣🤣 But in this video I show you how to update and bind your new Flysky Noble NB4 with your new FGR4 and FGR4S recievers and how to update them if they wont bind.

Dude, I struggled so hard to get my Fly Sky Noble NB4 bound to my Kyosho MP9e Evo w/ the FGr4S receiver. It was a total pain before I found this video. There are some changes for the newest Noble NB4, in 2022, however. I want fellow enthusiasts to know what they are because it could throw you for a loop. I hope y'all take a look at the comments because I'm going to list them here: Once you're done with the first steps, I.e., when the bind plug is facing horizontally in the receiver, it's time to power off and insert the bind plug in the 'correct way,' as the video implies.
Power the receiver & ESC on again (leaving the transmitter on), and go back to the 'Receiver Set' category where the poster scrolls to the top, (you're still in the 'RX Set' section at that point). He touches 'Bind With Receiver,' but the problem is that if you have the newer model (here in 2022, aka, the apocalypse), that choice has a different heading. Rather than the bind with receiver option, it says "Bind Set." It's the same thing as bind with receiver, FYI.
I thought that might be a good addition for the RC world to know. This video is awesome, thank you! Kudos to you for getting us up and running, literally, (pardon the pun), as well as filming one-handed. You're an RC NINJA and you saved my butt because I've got races coming up and need to get this thing dialed in. Thank you thank you thank you! 😜

If anyone is having issues binding or having it stay bound after powering back on, even after updating the frequency and receiver, MAKE SURE YOU DONT ALSO HAVE A SERVO PLUGGED INTO RECEIVER while doing it all like I did. The manual doesn’t state that. After I figured that out it works perfectly.

Do I need to bind even if my receivers came with the remote?
My radio works fine on all of my receivers, except for some reason channel 3 on my FGr4 doesn't function. I can hook lights or winch controller to channel 4 and everything works perfectly, and on my FGr4s channel 3 works perfectly. In fact on my FGr4, channel 3 doesn't even show up on the active channel inputs on the home screen. Any ideas?

I have a FGr4S receiver. It will bind with Firmware 2.0.85 in the radio. It won't bind with Version 2.0.93. Several racers that use the NB4 has tried to bind the receiver in firmware 2.0.93. They are at a loss also. I have purchased 8 of the FGr4S. This is the only one that won't work with version 2.0.93. Do you have any ideas what to do?
Unfortunately I don't and have since left the RC world... I no longer stayed up to date with the device. I apologize 😔

I eventualy got it bound, just I didnt get the bound mesage from the controler :( in case just switch off both, and restart. Mine was bound.

I'm trying to find info about the fgr4 vs. fgr4s. The S has an internal antenna... does this affect the range?
So far in my experience, I've lost visual before I lost signal

Tried this and no luck. The update bar on tx just sits at 0%. what ever I do.

It's the same procedure but on the control tou just choose the other reciever

@@Skinketern if it will.allow you to, yes.... but if it will not bind, you cant very well connect it.

Hi mine will not bind at all I have two of the fgr4 v2 receivers and when I do this it says please connect Rx first...please help. Thanks
I ran across that as well... you need to go to flyskys website in the manual and update the firmware on the radio... as the reciever has newer firmware than the radio and you cant go backwards on the reciever. Hope that helps!
@@ratted55belair16 I did do that and then the rx still didn't not want to bind I tried everything and finally I tried choosing a model and giving it a name and then I tried binding it and it took and then I updated the rx and it took and then I re-binded it and it took.👍
