- In today's video we are taking the leg of a turkey and smoking it. These pieces of turkey are most commonly sold at state fairs and only available in stores around Thanksgiving time. To start out we used a brine.
1 gallon of veg broth
1 cup salt
1/2cup sugar
2 tablespoons of all spice and whole black peppercorns
4 bay leaves
2 oranges quartered
Brine for about 4 hours and air chill for 2 hours. Use your favorite seasonings and smoke! I smoked at 275 the whole cook until we reached an IT of 175. ENJOY! Please consider using the links below to purchase my most used equipment. It'll help me out a bit as I receive a commission on sales.

I live in Japan. Next time I go to America, I want to eat your meat dishes. I definitely think your meat dishes are more delicious than Japanese meat dishes.
Thanks so much for your compliment! Texas is probably the best state in America to get some good bbq food.
That is one tendy leg! Love the violent whisking 🤣 Nice job brother
Haha I don't know why but sometimes I mess up words like that. Totally not planned at all.
Damn, I just had lunch and this video made me hungry all over again! Great job!
Haha that's funny. Happens to me all the time too. It's dangerous for me to start watching food vids
Only 1 drumstick?? What about the family? LOL 👍
Hahaha you're funny! I had some other stuffed planned for dinner that night
Your food safety video was so bad I couldn't watch the whole thing.
Some people have never cooked before that watch UA-cam videos to learn how. Maybe some people don't know stuff like that. I try to make my videos educational. I understand to most it's not necessary
What was so bad about it?
