when browsing for books to read, i always look for book reviews. as a reader and booktuber, one of the most fun aspects of reading for me is building my book collection and having a space to display my books. that is why i bring you a 2022 bookshelf tour where i show you every single book i own physically (plus i break down my bookshelf organizations plus some tips and tricks for book beginners). booktube and booktok have buzzed about some of these books… but did/will i enjoy them? i hope you guys enjoy this one and come out with more books to add to your TBR and some good book recommendations for 2022!

Great work! I've just started watching bookshelf tour videos, but this is my favorite so far, despite the fact that we don't have many books in common beyond the romances. Your narration is fun, and I like that you pulled select books out to show us. But I especially love the Video-Bombing Cats at the end. :D

I organize my books by category: my favorites, fantasy series, TBR, stand-alones, comics, and nonfiction. I always love moving them around to make it aesthetic!

I think you would like the Renegades series. It’s about superheroes but it has a lot of drama, romance, a little bit of mystery, and of course, epic battles and corruption. You get both POVs from a villain who wants to get revenge on a superhero organization called Renegades and a hero who works for them but hides his own little secret. I loved the books, they were so good

I organize my shelves in my second bedroom by genre and then last name alphabetical. I also have 2 smaller bookshelves in my living room and there I go only for the vibes (favorite series and beautiful books)
I organize by hardback and paperback, with series/authors together. I have a bookshelf of read and bookshelf of unread. I love seeing how everyone organizes! Thanks for sharing!

I order my bookshelves by genre, without making a distinction between YA and Adult, since I don’t own that many adult books yet.
I loooooooved the bone witch series. I find it beyond underrated! I found the story to be unique but it does give shadow and bone feelings (to me)

omg the bone witch was not good imo. to me it was like the more confusing, more boring, and overall worse version of red queen because the romance is just so weird (the main love interest has no personality other than being strong, etc) and there's no maven to make it better. also the character names are just bizarre: our mc's name is tea 🍵🫖 and her brothers are all named after animals 🦊
don't buy the fairyloot versions!!! i wanted to love this series sm, but i don't think it's worth spending the money 😭

So qn: I just finished the first book in the all souls trilogy but I'm a slow reader so I'm trying to decide if the series is worth continuing or should I move on to another series instead. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i think it’ll be entirely up to you! the series is slow moving (based on what i’ve heard), so if you feel like that’ll further slow you down, then maybe mixing it up with reading something else would be the move❤️🔥

good ventilation is always key! and keeping them in a room with little to no humidity and limited exposure to sunlight (in my experience) 🤍
