I'm participating in big book summer challenge and reading Little Dorrit by Charles Dickens at 928 pages, but I think I'll finish it in July. So, I ran downstairs to my library and grabbed Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell to start next!
I love fantasy, classics, mythology, literary fiction, dark acedamia, sci-fi, historical fiction and some mystery thriller.
Horror if it's not too paranormal/scary. 🫣😅 Vampires, Frankenstein type horror a big yes.
My library a little over 500 books as well, too many of them unread!! I need to read more and buy less, but our thrift books SO cheap here! Now, I need to watch for The Mad Women's Ball and Mary'sMonster! 😂😂 ...⭐️

Why is Silvia Moreno-Garcia a "they" to you if she is married to a man and has at least 1 child with him? LOL
Sorry but I find it annoying that you guys try to respect the gay community when you say this but you disrespect a straight person when you call her or him a "they". If you don't know, the right word is he or she depending on the sex. You know it's a man or woman. Then you find out if they are gay and prefer another pronoun and you call him or her a they or them but only once you know if the person is married to someone of the same sex or someone of the opposite sex. It should not be too hard. If you're gay I will still call you a woman because thats what you are. Until you mention preferring being called a he no one should use they or them as a pronoun for you or anyone else. You are 1 person, not multiple people.
That's your opinion. I choose to go gender neutral as I do not know what they prefer. I wouldn't want to offend anyone by using the wrong pronouns, and many do use the pronouns of They/Them.
@@ReadingNymph I'm straight and can tell you it's offensive to me when someone uses "they" or "them" to describe me. I assume it would be the same of SMG. Some women love the fact that they are women. Nothing to be offended about when you say she/her when you are talking about a woman. People these days get offended if you walk past them with a shirt in they least favorite color. This is dumb.

You don't have to be gay to be non-binary. Sexuality and gender are different things.
