- after so long, i finally had the spare time to assemble and organise my bookshelves and dare i say, i'm in love with the way they look! there's definitely more that i've got to do to take these shelves and the wider office further, but i'm so happy with how good of a start we've got here!

I'm finally getting back into reading, even though my collection is really small, and all these book videos have really been helping. I didn't even know there was a book side of youtube aside from "I read (series) so you don't have to"!
Those piles of books looked so overwhelming ;; , I would have just lied on the floor for a few hours, denying the fact that there can't just be those piles there forever

I too was that child. I had a book of flower fairies and was diligent in my search for them. Also I spent a lot of time picking and tasting the plants, to such a degree that my mother purchased me a herbal and asked that I identify before I tasted. She said she was afraid I would poison myself. Instead I got a very thorough grounding what everyone calls wild foraging nowadays.

I just use goodreads to keep a count of my books. When I scan a book (using my camera on my phone) I just add it on a shelf labeled owned & another labeled tbr if I haven’t read it yet. Then I can view them in any list way I want - genre, title, author. It’s great. When I do an unhaul then I scan again and remove from that shelf 😊 This is the 1st video I’ve watched from you - love your style.

It was a lot of fun watching you do this process, i manually input all of my books into my database soooooo embarrassed that I didn't know about the scan feature (I also know there is a way to do that with your phone via goodreads and I manually did that as well cause I am a fool! lol)

I'd recommend the bookshelf app, made it so easy for me, you can batch scan and make shelfs for genres. Plus helps me keep track of what volumes I have
