- This is the Mudcreek side of Strawberry reservoir. Upon the date of making this video, the ice was consistently 4" and POPPING very loud. I tribute this to why it probably got slower and slower for many people. There were ALOT of people on the ice but that was to be expected. You can find 5" of ice near the parking lot and closer to 3" on the water line.
I drive a 2wd Kia Soul and the hard packed snow road was just fine for me with the exception that when you leave during the day, keep consistent acceleration on the uphill out of the parking lot for best traction.

It’s been a hard year so far. 3 trips to Scofield and one to Huntington yielded me about 5 fish lol.

@tntepicadventures I found the most productive hours for me to be around 6-7AM. I would be curious to ice fish at like 3 AM and see what it yields lol.
