I noticed the mirrored view in an older video and was quite confused at first. But them I thought - they are driving on the other side of the road in the UK, so am sure they will be able so sew the other way round as well 🤣
Thanks Cara, I sure do appreciate all of your videos and I appreciate how you go over adjustments you made or things that didn't go well or did go well, it's very informative and fun at the same time. I just love your humor and how peppy you are. Wishing you a wonderful new year from Oregon. Yolanda ❤
27 days ❤ the wreath is just beautiful too. You’re lucky to have such a great place to walk, getting out into nature is so good to keep the spirits ups through the winter.
Cara - You're always a beauty!! 😍 Love that floral fabric you're wearing. Thanks for this year's many wonderful memories and videos 💗... can't wait to see what you make next year! 2025!! 🎉🥳🐾🌻🌺🌼🌹🥰
Love the last top you wore. Yes you will be tired as events catch up with you. Family is on it's way back to Surrey, so watchinga classic film and trying to resist the left over snacks!
Big surprise that you made a video on Boxing Day after Vlogmas videos. So nice for viewers. I haven’t finished watching but love the open denim duster. You can look good in almost everything! Ha! The video today has a nuisance ‘blinking’ ….almost like eyelids closing/opening. Go figure… Lovely crochet wreath. Yep, lots of creativity and time….
Thank you for your comments I really appreciate. lol the editing app that I’m testing has a blink feature for transitions but I seems to have added lots 😅 I live and learn
Absolutely love the wreath gorgeous, I cut out the Olya shirt today so excited to start making it but I have a makeup bag to finish for a friends birthday to fill with goodies, I'm sure you could recreate the denim dress xx
Did I hear seagulls when you were outside looking at the license plate? Oh my, how I miss living closer to salt water. Moved inland, too far away for a seagull to fly. Thx for all the time you put into your videos, I have enjoyed every moment! Happy New Year!
The denim shirt dress looks good worn as a duster. The handmade Christmas wreath is beautiful! I have a few things cut out, but have been lazing around. Back to some sewing tomorrow.
Love the denim shirt dress Cara 👌. So great to see your walking areas with your lovely doggos 🐾. Merlin turned 14 end of November.. we haven't had any accidents yet but he does get us up in the middle of the night to take him out for a wee by scratching the carpet🥴. I guess this problem is inevitable as they age 😜. How gorgeous is that wreath... such a lot of work gone into it as you say 💖. Cars looking good too 😍😁👌😘
I felt much the same as you yesterday. I was unable to achieve a thing. I sat and read and even that wasn't very successful as I couldn't absorb the information. Tomorrow I really need to sew.
Your quality of your husband's phone video was excellent. For some reason your iPhone video today seems to keep winking,( the only way I can describe it). Have enjoyed watching your videos everyday this month, thankyou so much. PS I lived in Mayfield when I was about 4/5 years old, don't remember much about how it looked but I remember going to the school and the sweetie shop😂.
Amazing that you lived in mayfield, it’s a small world! Yes my husbands phone is excellent so I have one coming. The winking is a transition but somehow the edit app seems to have added a few extras 😅 I live and learn ❤️
Aww poor Allie Boo. She probably felt the loss of Laura more than we can tell or understand. I hear it quite often when there're 2 doggies and one passes, the other seems to go downhill quickly. I hope spring time will help cheer her up. I do hope she doesn't have something medically going on. I, too, was absolutely knackered yesterday(another British word I love and seem to have added into my English vocab). My son, Galen, and I spent the evening watching a funny (silly) Netflix series called Resident Alien and today he flew back to Arizona. That was hard. It's a bit after 2:00 a.m. here and I can't sleep so I was happy to see there was a video from you. I'll say happy Saturday morning to you as it's just after 7am across the pond. Enjoy your tea/coffee and have a wonderful weekend Cara! BTW, I thought it was funny that your camera looked like it was winking at us today and what a gorgeous wreath. Such a thoughtful gift.
Sorry to hear your feeling knackered 😅❤️ it’s the best feeling when you know it’s been with family and food 🥰 I’m glad you got some quality time with your son. Hopefully feeling topped up with love will help for a while with the sadness of him leaving x it’s been lovely to be sewing today. I’ve been trying a new app and the blinking is a transition. But maybe too many transitions 😅
Hi Rita! On a recent video we chatted about where we live and you said you're in Rochester. Random question here, but do you know of any shops in the Syracuse/Skaneateles area that sell garment fabric (other than the chain stores)? I'm going to be in that area next week and I always love finding fabric when I'm adventuring! I know it's a long shot but since Rochester isn't too terribly far away I thought maybe you'd have an idea. My internet search is coming up empty.
Enjoyed your vlog very much but what was the blinking all the way through, I’m sorry I found it a little annoying, sorry if I’m being a grump, my husband has given me manflue. 💕
@ Sorry, I don’t think I explained correctly, it was like the camera was blinking not Cara. I don’t want to offend anyone either, was it the shutter opening and closing, maybe that explains what I mean better. Anyway I think it must just be me, I’m tired, feel rubbish, need sleep.
Sorry to hear about the man flu 😕 I’ve been testing a new app and the blinking is a transition between clips but it seems to have added several unexpectedly 😅❤️ I’ll try something different today, I live and learn
What a beautiful wreath! Such depth of color!
Isn't it lovely
I noticed the mirrored view in an older video and was quite confused at first. But them I thought - they are driving on the other side of the road in the UK, so am sure they will be able so sew the other way round as well 🤣
Lol no, just me forgetting to turn off the mirror function on my husband's phone 🤣
Thanks Cara, I sure do appreciate all of your videos and I appreciate how you go over adjustments you made or things that didn't go well or did go well, it's very informative and fun at the same time. Thank you so much for the super thanks I really appreciate it. I really appreciate your feedback and comments that’s very kind of you x
27 days ❤ the wreath is just beautiful too. You’re lucky to have such a great place to walk, getting out into nature is so good to keep the spirits ups through the winter.
Thanks Jan, you’re amazing and I hope you’re ok. The wreath is so beautiful, nature is the best cure for everything x

Thank you so much ☺️ thats very kind of you . The fabric is from pound fabrics x
Love the last top you wore. Yes you will be tired as events catch up with you. Family is on it's way back to Surrey, so watchinga classic film and trying to resist the left over snacks!
Lol I feel your pain with the snacks!
The area where you walk reminds me of Southwest Washington (state) where I was born and my husband grew up. Plenty of moisture!! Great sewing weather!
Oh that sounds amazing, gosh Washington state, that’s lovely
Love the knitted wreath. Clever lady too. What a great number plate! 😄🩷
Thanks so much! 😊

Thanks julia thought about recreating the dress but there are lots of tricky details 😅
@@sosewmad Oh that's a shame

Thank you, yes definitely seagulls, thing is we’re at least half hour from the sea! They are super noisy actually and a bit of a pain x
The denim shirt dress looks good worn as a duster. The handmade Christmas wreath is beautiful! I have a few things cut out, but have been lazing around. Back to some sewing tomorrow.
Ooo lazing around sounds like a great idea Laura. Recharge mode 🥰❤️
Beautiful wreath.
Isn’t it wonderful
I love the denim shirt dress as a duster ❤
Thank you Yolanda I think it’s worth keeping 🥰
Hello Cara lovely vlog and the duster looks very stylish on you, love it! I adore your fur babies, may I ask the breed?
Thank you, our dogs are whippets, they are adorable 🥰

Thank you sally we sleep through her getting up 😔 just one of those things I guess. Lovely that Merlin in 14 that’s amazing
Looks like you had a fun Christmas. We had our dinner in shade on our lawn it was a hot day 30 degrees. Boxing day 40 degrees phew
Gosh wow that’s such a different concept of Christmas to ours but sounds lovely!
I felt much the same as you yesterday. I was unable to achieve a thing. I sat and read and even that wasn't very successful as I couldn't absorb the information. Tomorrow I really need to sew.
Good to listen to your body on these occasions, it’ll be lovely to get back to sewing when you feel more yourself x

Check one of your jeans trousers, that is how I figured out the zip fly issue, thanks for sharing, Martine New Zealand
Great, no worries x
Hello from Canada 🇨🇦, love your channel. What brand is your sewing machine. I’m sure you have already said so but……. I missed it.
Hi wow all the way from Canada! Incredible. My sewing machine is a brother innovis 15 I think - I’ll check later x
Enjoyed your vlog very much but what was the blinking all the way through, I’m sorry I found it a little annoying, sorry if I’m being a grump, my husband has given me manflue. 💕
This is not a criticism, but I didn't notice blinking.

@@JennySherriff-w7i It's not you 😀 I think it's in the editing, maybe, as the audio jumps too?

That’s it exactly I’m testing a new editing app which seems to have added lots! I’m learning all the time 😅❤️
Our whippet Mouse will be 15 in March, she started peeing, we use puppy pads which she does use, might be worth a try.
Yes that’s a good idea, at least it catches the wee. It’s such a bother. Lots of love to mouse ❤️
I have always been an android user, cant justify the price of apple.
I totally agree, new phone arrived today and already so much easier
