Something for everyone. Loved part 1. Got a few on your list for my brother and I.
Thank you - and enjoy the games!
Appreciate your videos! Greetings from Holland❤
Thank you kindly! You're very welcome at the channel!
Man, i really like your videos, expand a lot my gaming taste, greetings from an brazilian/armenian bro
Thank you kindly. You're very welcome at the channel!
Thanks! Wishlisting some of these 👍
A few that i can recommend are;
-Dex (a Blade Runner style 2D action platformer with RPG elements)
-Ghost 1.0 (Androïd (as in robot) 2D action shooter Metroidvania platformer)
-Dust: An Elysian Tail (Hack and slash 2D action platformer)
Thank you very much! Ah, I haven't played Dust in years, that's a great little game. I definitely need to check out the other two games you mention, so thanks again!
Abathor really reminds me of a cross between Capcom's Magic Sword and Sega's Altered Beast.
I really like your narration style mate, reminds me of the slightly dry, acerbic style of 90s gaming magazines.
I appreciate it, thank you!
I kind of miss those magazines, all looking glossy and packed full of new stuff on the shelves each month. It was so exciting.
Played and beat both of these that were on GamePass - Flynn and Cyber Shadow. I enjoyed them both, but CS was a bigger challenge for sure. Flynn was much more relaxing and easier to progress through.
I agree. Both great games in their own right, but Cyber Shadow is definitely the trickier of the two. Definitely need to be in the right mood to tackle certain sections!
Heidelberg is wild, picked it up on a sale of 5 cad. (That's about the cost of a sip of a pint in the British Isles). It looks like the album art on a tape from a Black metal demo from the 80s. It scared me, but you've given me the courage to revisit it. Cheers
Ha! I'm delighted to have inspired your new-found strength. It's definitely something different, isn't it? Enjoy, and thanks for watching!
Abathor, "plays like Golden Axe with platforms." What did Rastan do to you in a previous life? 😂That's what it reminded me of before even mentioning Golden Axe.
Ah, we all love Rastan. Thanks for watching!
Very solid list. Thanks.
You're welcome - and thanks for watching!
I LOVE this channel!
Thank you! You're very welcome here.
wow, a couple of games on the list i missed in my collection, i think VOLGAR 2 should have a spot btw, but a solid list, thanks, added those games to my wishlist and for the next steam sale, much appreciated.
Hello! I nearly had Volgar 2 in the video, actually. It's a good game - pretty tough. I'm glad I could introduce you to a couple of new titles. Enjoy, and thanks for watching!
Currently splitting time between “Blast Brigade” for my metriodvania fix and big helmet heroes after loving the demo
Ah yeah, I need to try Big Helmet Heroes, I've been watching that for a while. Blast Brigade is great fun.
Love the look of the first game🎉
They've done a great job with Unruly Heroes, but it just seemed to slip under the radar for many people. You can usually find it really cheap these days, so check it out if you can. And thanks for watching!
great choices thank you
I appreciate it, and thanks for watching!
7:08 lol❤
Another interesting list, not my genre at all but appreciate hearing about games I really hadn't heard of. Hardcore Mecha interests me. Maybe keep the game names on screen through the gameplay? Saves rewinding or checking the description.
I appreciate it, thank you. I'll have a think about how best to keep game information accessible. Cheers!
The presenter sounds like Richard Leadbetter, senior writer at Digital Foundry.
Nice video, good sir. You are accurate in the assessment of hardcore mecha. Might I recommend you have a look at Foregone. I have been playing that solid. It is really ace. Have a look. See if you get a flashback/another world/turrican vibe like i did.
Thank you, sir! And I'm pleased to say that I know Foregone well - I covered it in a video for five great pixel art games a little while back. Great game, really addictive.
I have unfortunately already played these, but a good list nonetheless for others.
You obviously have great taste! Sorry not to have anything new for you, but hopefully next time.
I love this series - Does anyone know if there's a list of every game from all the videos?
Hello! A list of every game I've covered? Only in the various descriptions for each video, I think. But thank you, and thanks for watching!
Haha, brilliant 👏 totally overlooked that. Love your work 😎 👍 Keep it up.
@MiffMeisterGeneral I appreciate it. Cheers!
Dude, I would play Look, tits! and buy copies for all my friends only if you narrated it. So that would guarantee at least 3 copies sold!
Haha! I'll speak to my publisher. Thanks for your support!
Gal Gun is trash. Every time you attack there's an unbearably annoying voice sound effect , it's the worst sound design decision of all time.
I wouldn't say it's 'trash', but I do agree that the voice work can be annoying and it's a shame there's no option to turn it off. I think I became numb to it after a while and it stopped bothering me.
