I started cycling again this year on a single-speed and watching your videos recently inspired me to try fixed gear! I will admit I’ve already fallen over at a stop and am also terrible at getting into my foot straps but I will keep trying Keep up the great work!!
That makes me happy! I love the idea of someone trying something new, getting back up, and trying again! So proud of you! Keep going! Learning how to track stand taught me better control of my bike during a skid ( stop ) Thank you! You keep it up, too!! ✨⚙️
That was a beautiful November day in NYC. Very nice! And the city streets are kind of empty. Is it my imagination or do you need a shorter stem? Maybe it's from the lens distortion, but your arms are kind of stretched. Thank you for the ride! You captured some beautiful autumn colors while riding. The museum has gorgeous architecture!
That's a Sunday in NYC! Thank you! And my stem is 90mm. Maybe it's a beginner habit of fixed gear because I tend to rest my arms down to pull my bike back and react to a stop at any moment. I am still a little paranoid after touching that pedestrian. But I will experiment with getting a shorter stem! Thank you!
@FixedGearCycling yes, I understand. I tend to put a lot of pressure on my arms while riding my road bike. It would be nice to always be Sunday, regarding the traffic. 😊 It's quite normal to have some fear after that crash, but you will get over it, in no time. In my opinion you are a good rider and you are also brave enough to ride a fixed gear on the streets of NYC.💪 You're welcome!
I love it! It's not a light frame but gives me a stable feeling. I am small, so a light bike felt too light, surprisedly. Get it!! Let's be twinning! ✨⚙️ I am sure you know it'll rust I already developed some birthmarks
what a beautiful road to ride a fixed gear! 🤩💥
Thank you!! ✨⚙️
Love the raw frame!!
Thank you! 🙌
Nice ride in some beautiful weather! Keep it up! Enjoy!
Thanks for the kind words! The weather was the perfect cycling day!
Keep on riding!!
Thank you so much! 🙏 I will!

I've lived in NYC all my life and never been to the cloisters. It's a beautiful place you've inspired me to go👍
I'm glad it inspired you! 😊! I am surprised there isn't any bike racks!
I half expected you to do that FPS "walking into walls" thing like you did in the Fort video haha!
The rolling hills at 13:28 is my favorite portion of the Westside Greenway!
Half of it is under construction! 😭😭

I love your bars
Thank you! ⚙️✨
A half hour on a Fixed gear outside trumps an indoor Spin class everytime!😃
I used to go to The Monster Cycle at Limelight!
Always enjoy your view! How was the cloisters? And was it free??
I have no idea how she does it, crossing from East to West of Manhattan without stopping.
@@StanStrong108 It was a Sunday! Best time to bike around NYC
The Met Cloisters is pay as you wish! For NY residents! Thank you!
