Always wondered that.
It's a little of both. They get paid for the sponsorship and I'm sure they get a kick back from Walmart when people buy from the affiliated links. I take reviews with a grain of salt when it's associated with a sponsorship.

I actually only choose to work with companies that I know have quality items.. so when I decide to say yes to a sponsored video Its because I did my research on the store/company and trust what they have to offer.. I choose the items I want to share with you all, because it's stuff I am actually going to use in my home. I love the idea for the stool, but completely agree with it having to match. My kids constantly try to convince me that it doesn’t matter but my decor is one thing I never budge on lol if it’s not working it’s gotta go 😂

Is the stool you bought comfortable for you to rest your legs on while on the sofa? If it is I would also find a pretty throw to put over it-plus you’ll have a blanket if need while resting.
Get yourself a green cover or blanket to match the couch and put it over the stool
