I was about to order an 11-6 but after watching this video I'm gonna stick with my air shock because I don't know what that green line is which goes around and around.
Lot's of jackass comments. "If you don't know what the green line is, you shouldn't be riding this shock". Yet the companies motto is "The easiest way to upgrade your suspension without knowing anything about suspension"
Normally I like your videos, but this was just a complete joke with unfunny innuendos. Learned completely nothing new about it from what is on their website. The 4mins that I spent watching it were painful and a complete waste.
Thank you for watching our videos, cmstump. "Complete joke" is exactly right. This particular video is entirely intended as a tongue-in-cheek parody and participant in the rather odd phenomena of "un-boxing" videos, wherein the focus is sometimes more on the packaging of a product than the actual product itself. It's all a weird manifestation of consumerism and social media culture, and when looked at objectively, makes little sense. Which is all (in my mind) kind of fitting, since we are talking about a $1200 bicycle shock here. As far as the innuendos go, that's just Luke. If you don't care for them, I'd say avoid any videos in which he is featured. Lastly, I personally own an Elevensix, and it is, by a solid margin, the best rear shock I've ridden. I also used to live near and ride with the Push guys, and they are a driven and dedicated (and fast) bunch of bikers that make a spectacular product. Let me know if you have any specific questions about it. Best regards, and thanks again for watching! Dan at Fanatik
Thanks for the reply. I do agree about the Push Industries guys being great guys; I have a Push tuned Fox 34 and a re-tuned rear shock and cannot say enough good things about them and they have helped improved my riding exponentially. Your other videos are great though, keep those up.
@@FanatikBikeCo Don't understand all the comments about the cost of this product? How much is a good front fork, carbon wheels and top notch drivetrain? To me a rear shocks performance is just as if not more critical. Perhaps comments about cost are relative to what other companies are charging for shocks? Personally I believe in the old adage, you get what you pay for and if you don't like it, don't buy it!
@@FanatikBikeCo Maybe you could have actually done a good job for the consumer?? Showing a consumer what actually comes with the shock that goes above and beyond the normal rear suspension purchase. That's the true nature of "unboxing" videos.
Yup, definitely only appropriate for folks looking for the absolute best, whether they need or just want it (no one really needs it). The DHX2 is definitely a phenomenal shock. Cheers, Dan at Fanatik
Hey Justin, Haha I don't know what to say, the bike industry can be a little bit crazy. With ever changing frame standards, wheel sizes, new suspension standards, and now gear box bikes trickling out all the time it can seem ridiculous at times. We just have to remember that R&D is not cheap and most of the changes have helped move the sport forward. Now I haven't used the ElevenSix yet, mainly because everyone I have talked to about it swear by it now, and I just simply can't afford it. But from what people are saying it definitely is a step above most of it's competition. If you ever find yourself in Bellingham feel free to stop by the shop and check them out, we even have demo's in certain sizes if you want to try one. Thanks, Brian at Fanatik

It's true, a really smooth shaft is great for most applications.
"theres a green line and it goes down and then back up, thats really what you're looking for" hahahaha
Fanatik is the best in the country and Luke knows the difference between the packaging and the shock, sweet jumps, and voting for Pedro.
This fuckin dude....Oh my god best bike video on the net.
Agreed.
great sense of humour. Guys take it easy its not a technical video, its called "unboxing" video. What did you expect?
Great video of this unique shock, but i will stick with mi: a lot of adjusments: Fox Float X2
Another great shock. Cheers,

This guy needs to chillax with the snide comments. Bet he does not understand how a gas combustion engine works but drives a car!
The price pushes me off. 🤔
😂 this is great
After watching that unboxing I'm feeling a distinct uneasiness... like the post donkey show viewing kind of uneasy...

@@TheRCNetwork Sorry! We'll do it correctly next time. Luke is no longer at Fanatik.
