This is actually a really sweet movie. I liked how Bolt had to slowly realize his TV show life wasn’t actually real, and he’s a regular dog. I even remember having this on DVD.

Great movie just got home from college when I was younger I used to think bolt was real in terms of the powers when she said ‘speak’ gave me chills as a child!
I haven't seen those, but "Hachi- A Dog's Tale" my... jeez, made me cry so hard. Especially a few hours AFTER I watched it, after I finally realized I had been unknowingly repressing since it was so painful.

I have watched this movie on Disney so many times as a kid but somehow now I don't have a single bit memory of this. It's like watching a completely new movie again.
If you look at it, Bolt also deals with quite sensitive and worrisome stuff about movie industries and acting industries. (shocking, especially since it was made by Disney)
Literally this was my favourite childhood film, I remember seeing it in the cinema and going home later that day to try and fold up a scooter into my bag 🤣
This movie deserves so much more praise. It is such a cute movie and the premise is really fun. It is not perfect but it has such a sweet story. Bolt is so cute. 😭❤️

Bolt is one of my all-time favorite movies. It is near and dear to my heart. I remember wanting to watch it on Disney channel when it first aired on there (after it had been released in theaters). My parents wouldn't let me because they had to pre-watch everything for my younger siblings. One day we went to the mall 45 minutes away. We were in Best Buy. I saw it on dvd. I had brought my allowance that I had saved up. The dvd was $20. I had enough. I remember not being sure if my mom would let me buy it. So I carried it around the store hiding it against my side opposite to her. We got to the checkout, I paid for it and she didn't stop me. This was the first time I bought a DVD myself. It is also the first time I spent more than $15 of my own money. It's a very fond memory attached to this movie. It became a family favorite. We quote it in everyday conversation all the time. I can quote random scenes on demand. I could probably quote the entire thing. We still have the dvd, but it skips a little. edit: This was near 12-15 years ago.
23:45 My mom and step-dad found an abandoned dog tied to a post by the leash with a bag of dog food next to him while visiting a different city for the day, and we ended up adopting him. He was such a joy, always happy and loved being around any and everyone. I can never understand how someone can just leave their pet like that. If circumstances dictate you can't keep them, you make sure they find a good home. Just leaving them like that is cruel and heartless.
When the movie came out and i watched it for the first time, i thought it was going to be about a super dog. Good to see i wasnt the only one. I think the story is a lot more unique and interesting than just some super dog.
When I was 10 I got my first dog, a white German Shepherd mix and that same year we moved houses and had to drive across states. 8 years later I was working in a Disney Store and this film came out and my family was obsessed with the merch. This movie feels so nostalgic to me, the look of Bolt, the travel, and the breakfast chain stops. It's such a sweet film but it really makes me miss my Good Girl.
What!? I didn't know that until today. I didn't even recognize the voice either. Although to be fair, I watched this movie years before I started watching the credits to see who played who.
i don't read much comics, the only superheroes/ anti heroes with pets i know : -Bucky has a white cat -from DC: Jason Todd/Red Hood had a black dog. -Damian Wayne has a dog named Titus, a cat named Alfred and a cow named batcow.
Holy now that I think of it as you said DVD i remembered that when I was 7 10 YEARS AGO My sister bought this movie for me on DVD and I watched it IT WAS MY CHILDHOOD FAVOURITE
I love watching this movie especially Bolt realizing that it was all just an act not real. I know at first it was hard to realize it was fake. I feel so bad for Bolt always being on edge.
YESSS been waiting for this one!! Bolt is so nostalgic for me, watched it on repeat as a kid and begged my parents for a dog lol. Also, you would LOVE Happy Feet if you haven't seen it!
A better movie to me, it’s simple and interesting at the same time. Bolt lived in his fantasy, he had some cool powers, and while he had none outside of that, he was still loyal and brave.
This was my dogs favorite movie. Always waged her tail back and fourth and barked at the TV when I was a kid! She was a good dog. Rest in peace Edit: I was so happy watching this vid! Happy tears for days!
It’s crazy how underrated this movie is, it was literally my childhood 😅 plus that scene where he is willing to die with his owner gets me all the time. I hate when they show sad animals 😅

this makes no sense and is not necessary, idk. This is a finished story, and such a sequel would ruin this story in my opinion. Some good films and cartoons can exist without sequels, threequels, etc., but it's a pity that at this time not everyone understands this. Just think about it, Bolt is an ordinary dog who can finally live a normal life. The story is about our ordinary miserable little world, where miracles, superheroes and supervillains are only on the TV screen. Where will Bolt get superpowers, and most importantly, WHAT will he do with them? Chase thieves through the streets? And then it will turn into a show like "Lady Bug"? A meaningless continuation that no one needs.

An underated gem! Wish this movie was talked about more. Great reaction
Another dog movie you should definitely look into is a dogs purpose and it’s sequels a dogs journey. 2 of the few movies that genuinely made me cry
I cried so hard watching a dogs purpose.
Good films, one of my favourite movies of all time and I didn't knew Josh Gad was the one voicing the dog when I watched the first film.

The ultimate dog movie is Cats & Dogs (2001)
Both films also got good soundtrack, and when I watched dog's journey, that's when I find out that both films are based on books.
