People may think this baby/dog war in the movie is a joke but it's real. How many people have you seen or know that never want to have kids but instead have dogs and treat them like their babies..
@@crescentedwards851 That's not true, we only dislike those that treat their pets as children, they are dogs not fur babies, don't dress them up and carry them in little strollers..those people are mental nutcases.
The boss baby actually won the best animated feature award, which I think is pretty ridiculous considering the competition of that year was A Silent Voice (which Seb should react to maybe)
22:21 I find it hilarious that the henchman "nanny" was watching (a parody of) Julia Child! The real Julia made French cuisine, which uses a LOT of butter, so the parody version of her was making "deep-fried butter" where the secret ingredient was "a healthy dab of margarine." Coincidentally, though, deep-fried butter is a real thing you can eat, like at Coney Island, New York.
@@ChijiokeAgbanelo Yeah, some people really are. I've never had that deep-fried butter, but personally I don't want to 😂 Most of the food I like to eat/want to try is reasonably healthy, except for special occasion foods. I really want to try poutine, which is Canada's iconic dish. It consists of thick-cut fries (chips, for UK people) topped with brown gravy and cheese curds. NOT healthy at ALL, but it sounds so good that I want to taste it at least once 🤤 On the other hand, I'd really like to try making ratatouille (the traditional way, although Remy's confit byaldi makes my mouth water too) and that dish is pretty much entirely vegetables. 🤷🏻

My sister is 12 years older than me. I grew up feeling like my parents definitely paid her more attention. But I guess I can't say how it was for the first few years of my life that I obviously don't remember. But what I do remember is spending all of my free time reading books and playing video games alone because they were always helping my sister out with something, driving lessons, homework, looking at colleges, taking her to her friend's houses. Even when she went off to college my parents would spend hours on the phone with her every week, at least an hour almost every day. So often I'd go to talk to my parents and they'd be on the phone with her so I'd just walk away.
I always thought I was going to hate this movie but when I saw it I loved it from the day I accidentally saw it on television when watching television was still a thing
This movie is so underrated. My wife, kid and I watched this a million times together laughing. It's got stuff for adults and kids. It's great. The sequel was as underwhelming as Wreck-It Ralph 2

Boss Baby is one of those films that gets unnecessary hate sure it isn't some ground-braking cinematic masterpiece and has plenty of jokes that don't land but it's still imaginative and ultimately enjoyable. People mostly decided it was going to be a bad film the moment it was announced without giving it a fair chance and that stigma has persisted. While not perfect the film is still overall a 7/10. The sequel is ok but only a 4/10 at most imo. The Netflix Show on the other hand is legitimately great solid 8/10.
6:22 honestly I didn’t think that way either growing up. me and my younger brother have seven years between us, and we always fought and never saw eye to eye until recently with me being 18 and him 11. I still think I’m an only child a lot with my mannerisms after living as an only child for 7 years 😂
2:03 You know what I find funny about this scene… I didn’t understand this scene when I first watched it as a kid, but now that I’m watching this scene again several years later where I have more knowledge on “grown adult” stuff (don’t ask me where I got the “info”), a cord just struck inside me. I’m just glad I can laugh at adult jokes now, lol 😂
My mom's grandma had a huge crush on my dad. She would leave the bathroom door open when she came over and make really weird comments when he would walk by. I never met her, but I heard she was a funny woman.
