Punching anything that moves is such a mood like I've waited for an excuse to get in a fight for years now unfortunately seems like no one is stupid enough to give me an excuse and my body won't let me either I guess since I had to have an appendectomy yesterday which fucking sucks and right now and even when I was in the hospital I just wanted to eat a bullet instead of feel pain
Did some research and if you go after all the 'smithing stone' based fist, claws and whips, you'll have exactly 13, which is also the max number of Ancient Dragon Smithing Stones in the game currently. Without ng+ or dlc
The grafted dragon used to be a meme weapon but became really good after they buffed it...but only in pve, nobody is gonna get hit by that massive windup attack on the skill. But it ironically shreds dragons and other large creatures, or anything that it's explosion knocks on their ass. Used to be even stronger back when offhand skills applied mainhand buff effects.
I've been rocking it for a while. You'd be suprised. Even decent players can get hit if they get greedy. If they don't, they can still get clipped by the fire rain, unless they run out of range (imo the boring passive option). Oh also it actually has +10% damage against some dragons so yeah, dragon killer.
Hell yeah, I love the fist weapons. I'm big into boxing irl (watching and practicing) and I just find something satisfying about punching gods, demi-gods, monsters, and legendary heroes to death. Also big congrats on 20k subs my man, you deserve much more than you have. Looking forward to seeing your channel continue to grow.
6:38 damn, I like that gameplay style, that guy looks like a boss, cool armor, stylish stacks (+ bleed and lightning), bow and knife throwing. I love it
Btw unblockable blade is more like piercing fang. Both unblockable blades and fang completely ignore a shield while impaling thrust punches a large amount of your damage through but doesn't completely bypass
I wish the fist weapons incorporated more kicks into them... like I know it defeats the whole "fist" name, but the Kick ash of war is way too slow for me to picture my character as a monk
Freindly reminder that blood infusion overwrites native bleed, making caestus/spiked caestus have the same bleed blood infused. What you wanna use for spiked caestus is the occult/poison infusion, as it scales the base bleed with arcane. The few more points in status is insignificant against the occult ar increase. Tldr, dont use bleed infusion with weapons that already have bleed.
The fextralife wiki says that most bleed procs deal 15% + 100 damage, but blood infused weapons that have innate bleed deal 15% + 200 damage. So on someone with 1900 health an occult spiked caestus will deal 385 damage from the bleed proc, and the blood spiked caestus will deal 485 damage from the bleed proc. Also the blood affinity will usually get around 25% more bleed buildup than occult in most cases. Basically, use occult for a balance between bleed and physical damage, and blood if you want to go all in on bleed procs.
I first got into fist weapons back in Dark Souls 3 because Caestus' could rolling attack in-between attacks from the ultra greatswords and greataxes, and also because Crow's Talons had the exact one-handed moveset as the Longsword and people just didn't expect that. Elden Ring somehow made me love this playstyle even more, as my first character bashed bosses' faces with his spiky balls.
I just recently started using katars with quickstep on my caster and it's so much fun! The mobility and aggression enables some great setup for some more obscure spells
i love the moveset of the regular caestus, really wish there were more cool options to put on fists tho (impaling thrust should be allowed on all fists)
My first playthrough in Elden Ring was centered around Cipher Pata and Beastial incantasions, holy damage felt great in early game while physical from Beast Sling, Claws and Rock carried me through last quarter and pure faith actually scales better for'em even with the claw talisman Still my personal favourite playstyle
tbh I love fist weapons in general, but really can't love cliging bone. Lifesteal fist is great. It's available very early in the game (in a scarab on the way to the spiked ceastus) so it's a good way to set up occult affinity on fists and claws and get better status build-up before beating Radhan, or anyone else for that matter. Additionnally it proc greases and spell buffs 3 times at full strength so even standard fists get a good use out of it. Clinging bone itself can't really benefit from either and has worse AR than a keen or occult katar for 80/20 and 20/80 split into DEX and ARC. Even going for 50/50 doesn't bring it above either of the katars, let alone an occult spiked caestus. And above that it can't apply status or get weapon buffs. It looks cool, but numberwise it's kind of the worse fist option unless you decide to go for something like 80 ARC 80 DEX.
Starfist's heavy attack is absolutely good as it hits with BOTH fists at ONCE! Double damage, double effect buildup! It also procs multihit talismans super fast
It's worth noting for the Grafted Dragon is that it's heavy attack comes out fast and does surprisingly good poise damage. And, for some reason, even if you have it on your offhand using an ash will prioritize Bear Witness over whatever you have in your right hand, similar to a shield's ash being used instead of a weapon's. As for powerstancing them, the way i think of it is that R1 swings with one, L1 swings with two, R2 swings with your right and L2 Swings with your left. It's a fun setup if you want to think of fistfighting as a bit more technical.
Yeah people don’t realize how unbelievably strong the 1 handed charged heavy it. Come out incredibly fast, has almost no ending frames, does a shit ton of poise for what it is, and barely uses any stamina. It’s like the devs took into account that it’s a 1 handed fist weapon and buffed it’s charged heavies like crazy
That first opponent cosplaying as "Ranni's Emissary" and also fat-rolling is a massive gigachad. If I could appraise that player like I do messages, I would do ten times.
The best fist weapon with the regular moveset is spiked ball, which does more damage than iron ball and has bleed. Plus bloodflame blade on the 2 hand is crazy.
Pro tip after dozens of hours fighting with the spiked caestus: the uncharged heavy bypasses poises way more than my might expect, such a good sucker punch.
It would be fun if the Grafted Dragon had a unique powerstance moveset with greataxes but that would be a lot to ask for a drop from the bumpkin lord Godrick.
I remember when i discovered that all their r2s all poise break all natural poise. Alwasy won trades with it being way faster. Shutdown all the crouch pokers. Then discovering that all r2s had comboed into another r2. Even charges r2s. The raptor talons 4 hit true combo. Im glad i made that fist video when i did before they nerfed the stagger killing the combos
8:00 braggarts roar is equippable on all infusable fist weapons, so it requires no special coding. Since implying thrust can only be equipped on katar for fists, it wouldnt show up as default and an exception would have to be made
Important note, most fists weapons deal more damage if you power stance them instead of two handing, but that does mean you need two instead of one upgraded weapon
Spiked Caestus is god-tier. Also, double Grafted Dragon is pretty dope. Also, also, Star Fist is tight. Also, also, also, a Mike Tyson build done right is immensly broken.
It's worth pointing out that the grafted dragon for some reason deals _ridiculous_ stance damage in PvE. Those charged heavies break stance way faster than they have any right to.
I've noticed a bad trend for shield players. They either hide behind their shield and wait it out till someone dies (usually them.) Or they go hyper aggressive and forget they have the shield entirely. Making it so they basically have added weight and a useless arm taking away a slot better used for a weapon. Not Many shield players seem to understand the necessity of balancing out aggression and defense. Gotta do both depending on the situation for success. Simple as this. Defend and counter when the enemy attacks. And when the enemy isn't attacking or there's a flaw/opening. Attack. Don't be so afraid to peep out from behind the shield. But realize that it's still there to protect you. And don't be afraid to two hand your main weapon and swap back to using the shield. Also. Loved Drains build.
fists are my favorite weapon type in elden ring, its such a shame they get shafted when it comes to ashes of war (i will be eternally pissed that you can't put impaling thrust on the katar)
what gauntlets are you wearing at the begining ove the video for only your right hand to have the jutting out circle around it? also what greaves are you wearing?
Caestus is Latin and it is pronounced Kai-stoos. I don't care how people pronounce it, but for those who wanna know, that's how. It makes me happy that it's the coolest pronunciation of the word though.
is there a way to see how much poise dmg a weapon does? and speed? playing with daggers and the venomous fist atm. i guess the fang is pretty much the same range as a fist, but they def. feel slower than daggers. but my main issue with daggers is that they bounce off shields and these crystal enemies
You're finally living up to your name. Now go punch anything that moves

The perfect playthrough , do each remembrance with a different one of those, and reuse two.
Cool!
The grafted dragon used to be a meme weapon but became really good after they buffed it...but only in pve, nobody is gonna get hit by that massive windup attack on the skill. But it ironically shreds dragons and other large creatures, or anything that it's explosion knocks on their ass.

I made a build with it last week and it's surprising how many people get hit by it😂
I've been rocking it for a while. You'd be suprised. Even decent players can get hit if they get greedy. If they don't, they can still get clipped by the fire rain, unless they run out of range (imo the boring passive option).

I appreciate the love Orby 🤝
You have given me the courage to finally FIST my enemies. Thank you.
dang how does nobody notice it’s you?
Why hello there
Ranni ❤❤
I love when some of my fav youtubers watch each others videos
Sup "waifu" (didnt know what else to call you)
Occult Spiked Caestus on a pure arcane absolutely slaps. It has the same energy as pure faith Cipher Pata.
Yawn.
man. you got some loser real upset that you're having fun with a build. god forbid we have any fun.
6:38 damn, I like that gameplay style, that guy looks like a boss, cool armor, stylish stacks (+ bleed and lightning), bow and knife throwing. I love it

Congratulations, you get exactly what you want in the DLC!
Dryleaf arts will be your friend in a couple weeks

when you run around with metal balls on your hands and put Prisoner Mask you have ball trifecta
I know it would have been stupid, but bare fists only pvp would have been funny as hell
Can't wait for the "trying out every crossbow" video

12:33 rocking helphen’s steeple and deaths poker is definitely a funny combo, also that guy used the perfect time to re-enchant his weapon
Man,the clinging bone IS my favorite weapons, thank you!

If i remember right the grafted dragon has HUGE poise breaking potential with its 1 handed heavy attack for some reason
I can't wait for you to review claws! Hookclaws + all heavy attack enhancements + Endure are *the* furry lover cosplay
I love how monk wins with the majority of the weapons he showcases for his videos 😂❤

I like the star fist. Because it's like spiky punching. Between spiky punch and big hammer I'm very happy tarnished
I like cragblade for both weapons. Because how do you make punches and hammer better? Make it more heby
I'm a fister man through and through, can't get enough. love to play some Fisted Sister in the background while I'm smashing my way through victory!
the katars with lightning ram reminds me of Voldo from soulcalibur. love this

Really? I thought it was exclusive to the iron balls?
I love the Katars, and its a very solid weapon on Elden Ring
i like your character’s drip. i might have to steal that outfit.
Important note, most fists weapons deal more damage if you power stance them instead of two handing, but that does mean you need two instead of one upgraded weapon
My man, don't sleep on the grafted dragon. Those charged strong attacks come out quick and do a ton of stance damage
This channel have ENB weapon showcase vibe. Keep up the good work ❤❤❤
Never been so early. love your videos. Keep it up man
Caestus (and probably the other first weapons) also have a crouching heavy attack
Spiked Caestus is god-tier. Also, double Grafted Dragon is pretty dope. Also, also, Star Fist is tight. Also, also, also, a Mike Tyson build done right is immensly broken.
When it comes to the caestus, I believe you're almost correct, but it's a hard "C" like candy or cola.
The Brick hammer is my favorite Unga Bunga weapon
Ayyye congrats on 20k❤
It's worth pointing out that the grafted dragon for some reason deals _ridiculous_ stance damage in PvE. Those charged heavies break stance way faster than they have any right to.
Can’t wait for the DLC i already got a name ready for my bone fist build. It’s Jackie Chan🤣
Man I love fisti--wait no
Fr tho the pata-style fist weapons are my favorites. Wish we had an infusable one with decent range
They really need to Buff Fists/Unarmed. Never felt as Strong as past games. But the new Kong Fu style is fun to run.
Just starting to fall in love with the katar
This pleases the Lord of Fist Punch!
The fists of all time!
Loving this so far, earned a sub from me, though I gotta wonder when that spicy spear video is coming huh?
En réalité, c'est plus pour te revoir que pour le fun. Shhh c'est un secret.
w monk congrats on 20k man next 50k
Using raptor of the mist with fist weapons is fun

Spiked cestus is my favorite weapon in the game lmao
W Video🔥 can we get halberds next 🧐
double dragon, my next run
6:12 oh Jesus he’s hitting the fuckin griddy
I need to do a fist playthrough now
Lifesteal fist can be put on any other fist weapon
I haven’t played elden ring for a while but yesterday I just found out there’s 3 coliseums😅💀I thought there was only one 💀
fists are my favorite weapon type in elden ring, its such a shame they get shafted when it comes to ashes of war (i will be eternally pissed that you can't put impaling thrust on the katar)
Finally, a grab attack from a player
katar is my beloved light roll deleter 9000
This game is a pure meme.
Veterans prosthesis is a kitchen knife
W intro props to his intro
bro i love your content, im waiting for the hammers video pls make one❤❤
Bear witness is baller
The Monk is monking!
Kinda want to get the Katar and do a Diablo 2 assassin build
Trying every Greathammers when?
Star Fist + Cragblade = EZ Game
On behalf of all Mike Tyson builds I say, fists are good /srs/
Griddy lol 6:10
Whips next ?
*This pleases Rogal Dorn*
what gauntlets are you wearing at the begining ove the video for only your right hand to have the jutting out circle around it? also what greaves are you wearing?
I’m kinda upset that they didn’t add the fist weapons that the Nokron enemies use
What enemy?
Fist weapons scrath my monkey brain just right
Caestus is Latin and it is pronounced Kai-stoos. I don't care how people pronounce it, but for those who wanna know, that's how. It makes me happy that it's the coolest pronunciation of the word though.
because Lifesteal Fist counts as a critical, you’re better off putting it on the Katar with it’s 110 crit
is there a way to see how much poise dmg a weapon does? and speed?
playing with daggers and the venomous fist atm.
i guess the fang is pretty much the same range as a fist, but they def. feel slower than daggers. but my main issue with daggers is that they bounce off shields and these crystal enemies
wrong, the real kick on the katar is the fifa world cup
Please do funny daggers next 🫥
What armour set is he using?
I believe it's a mix of samurai and ronins set
Do u have a recimindations for base campain coming back to the game an i want to.try fist only play throw since i never beat the game
may i know the cape u are using in this video?
Do spears next please
The Caestus is pronounced “Ca-ae-stus” it comes from Latin as of the pronunciation
14:40 I have fought this guy soooooooooo many times in the colosseum but I change my name and build constantly so he probably doesn't recognize me
☠️Such a shame
