So to get ready for the release of Splatfest, I've compiled a quick video with all my tips and tricks to get you ready for the big day. Enter the Splatlands, a sun-scorched desert inhabited by battle-hardened Inklings and Octolings. Splatsville, the city of chaos, is the adrenaline-fueled heart of this dusty wasteland.
Even in this desolate environment, Turf War* reigns supreme and battles rage in new stages located in the surrounding wilds. Dynamic new moves help these fighters dodge attacks and cover more ground, along with a new bow-shaped weapon to sling ink.

I'm genuinely so terrified of the tri-color battles. And I don't think any of the weapons I'm comfortable with are gonna be in the testfire.
They have confirmed 26 weapons will be available, so there is a decent chance there'll be one you like!

They have something from each weapon class, im sure you can adjust

What a lovely guide, thank you! I'll definitely apply these strategies. I used Brellas a lot in Splatoon 2 and I'm willing to bet you could use them pretty effectively in these Splatfests. A Tenta Brella would probably work better but I guess the regular one will have to do!

Very cool and informative video. I really liked it. One thing to note about Fact #5, I’ve checked the demo today, and unfortunately, you cannot access the lobby until Saturday. Y’all have to wait a bit to test out the weapons.

I think that Zipcaster is gonna be really useful here as if a team is charging the Ultra Signal, you can use it to get over there fast and stop them. This is why I’m happy I’m an octobrush main
Plot twist: Pufuus uncle works at nintendo and big man being in the leading teams splash screen is actually a leak that big mans team will be in the lead at the 2nd half of the fest.

Something that might help you choose is to think of what sign you throw up whenever u actually play rpg like for example since whenever I play the actual game of rock papper scissors I always seem to hold up the scissor sign so I decided to pick that team :3 so yeah feel free to try that if it helps make the choices easier ^^

Let's see how many people don't bother covering spawn. Or covering the majority of the map or any easy blank spots. I got so salty when people just try to focus on the PVP and not doing what Splatfest mostly focuses on.... TURF wars!
I don't think I have the skill in pvp to afford NOT to cover turf. If I can't make enemies waste time on attacking me, I can make em waste time covering turf instead! Truly my tactical genius is beyond the average person's comprehension, right?
