- Hey, Croatia. I see you there! Look at you with the good national final there. Lots of great songs to enjoy, some bad ones, sure, but you gave us 24 so we forgive you.
Oh, and is that a potential Eurovision top five song there? From Croatia?! That's right. Hope you make the right decision and get the result you deserve.

Yup! Seemingly an easy decision but the *other* easy decision I keep thinking of was Poland 2016....so let's keep praying until it happens.

Barbara Munjas and The Splitters were done so dirty. Croatia really went ahead picking Saša Lozar and Boris Štok instead lol. Certainly a choice.
Anyways, Baby Lasagna ftw!
Saša Lozar doesn't surprise me as he's kind of famous. Boris was here last year and he has quite a good voice. But I agree that Barbara was better than Saša and that The Splitters were better than Boris.
As Dominic alluded to, we have to remember that a lot of these artists have careers and fame that we're not familiar with. When you're talking about eight out of twelve acts to qualify, sometimes that doesn't take a lot of points.
I wasn't a huge fan is baby lasagna and I still am not. I'm not hyping it up like many people are, the vocals are also a bit flat to me, however it's growing on me and it would be great for them at ESC. Still hope they will go for Marcela or Damir but sadly they won't
It's one of those where, even if the song isn't for you, the very fact that it has galvanised a fandom like Croatia's, the hasn't had a lot to shout about at Eurovision in recent years, has to be exciting, right?
They could genuinely get a great result.

But actually I have a feeling that neither him, Let3 nor Marcela would win at the end, with a surprise runway act represent Croatia instead (In the past three years, none of the fan favourite of Dora won, Nina only got 2nd in '21, Mia got 3rd in '22, and Harmonija Disonance came 2nd in last year )
Wrong, Let 3 were big favourites to win Dora 2023 and they did. Nina didn't win cause of her staging, it wasn't good, Mia wasn't good (staging and singing) and Harmonija Disonance staging was awful. So, if Baby Lasagna doesn't take the win today, it would be a miracle. Not saying it can't happen, but I personally would be very disappointed :D

Baby Lasagna deserves to win so much! I have never been so worried about a nf like that because if Rim Tim Tagi Dim wins, it would kinda fill the emptiness (did I spelled it right?) Eurovision 2024 a little bit has for now. There are many good songs that are going to compete in this year's esc but none of these has really impressed me that much but Baby Lasagna impressed me so much and I'm so excited to see him in Eurovision representing Croatia, if he wins ofc (the chances are really high)
I strongly agree with you. Rim Tim Tagi Dim feels needed this year towards the top of the selection. The year is still missing that really uniting and beloved song. I think we just got it.
Please Croatia, vote all for my Baby 😜, so that televoting quote is enough, even without Jury, like Finland, please not Let3 again, it doesn't work 2 times, and the act of them is horrible.. Baby L. for the final win 🏆🥰🥰🥰

I love everything except the chorus of Rim Tim Tagi Dim, like all of the song is phenomenal but the chorus is kind of a let down for ! But I'm hoping he will win because he is clearly the best
I'm happy that you still like it overall but ngl, I love the chorus.
If anything I've learned is that Dora never respects the eurofan's choice (except 2021 curiously) and I feel they'll pick someone from your bottom 10 honestly, but it's still a good lineup compared to other years. I'm sure if Baby Lasagna or Let 3 get chosen they'll be safe
Also San Marino picked their new song and honestly I could not be more positively surprised ! I won't say anything much more hehe
I think this year was just another level and this wasn't a "fan's choice" like in the past where obviously the international fans were getting behind a Eurovision fanw*k that was never going to be popular domestically.

@@jesemepardens9151 I was referring to 2023 where fans were trying to convince themselves about Harmonija Disonance when they had no real chance against Let 3. Or even in 2022, when Mia Negovetić just didn't have that good a song in the first place.
But yes, we've got ourselves a great song for our top fives now. Let's go, Croatia!
