I’m pretty confused. I know San Bruno BART probably isn’t being altered but the Tanforan Mall is being demolished in the next 3-4 years and a biotech campus put in its place. And the Target/parking structure regularly has 10-20 juveniles on bicycles riding around trying to cause accidents. That walking pathway from BART to the mall regularly has homelessness just sitting around there as well. I think a memorial is really important for the many immigrants that suffered but just the placement of this is so strange.
It's bc it's meaningless. Japanese got reparations and earn the most money in the country. They plopped it there out of spite to make noise as black Americans are refusing to allow them and others to practice their antiblack bs without comment. It's a shame they exploit a truly horrible situation. They have cheapened it quite a bit over the last two years.

Having a biotech campus that will in return raise the prices of everything all around the areas. 100% for sure
Once the mall is gone hopefully it will make the homeless in that area disperse into oblivion along with the skater kids
