WOW!!! John, I am forever thankful for you. You have done this multiple times. Seriously, thank you for seeing potential in me and helping with my career. Have an amazing holiday. Thank you brother ❤️
@@tanner.pickleball almost a 4 that's what my instructor says. I came from racquetball so trying to master your top spin video on forehand. Backhand is good. And quick hands drill has really paid off.
Love ALL your Excellent videos, a thumbs up Before I watch it! Yep, Tanner is the Best 5.5+ instructor. He's very articulate and details better than anyone!
Love your style, and succinct delivery. Great video again. It’s amazing how you came in and found your niche in fairly crowded coaching content on here. Keep it up!
Great video and drills! I really like your reset form with two hands. Do you have a video on this already or if not can you make a video going over this reset technique?
Excellent videos. Little tip for you; remind your viewers to like and sub earlier in your timelines, drop it in after some good advice. When you leave it right till the bitter end, there's no time to react before the next vid starts, depending on autoplay and what device someone's watching on. Also, many don't watch until the very end, soon as they know the lesson's over, they move on. I've seen catchy animations that aren't obtuse, they subconsciously get you clicking that like button without missing a beat. ;)
Good point, happens to me often. I want to like someone's video, but I can't find the button in time. Something else starts playing and I don't go back half the time:(
Hi Tanner, love the content! Could you make some videos about your training regimen off the court? (e.g. do you do knee/back/wrist/elbow/ankle strengthening exercises, and if so, what kind?)
Great! Absolutely I can! Right now I go to the gym 3-4 times a week doing a basic muscle strengthening workout! I can get more in-depth in a video, good call!
Hey Tanner. Just updating you. I am following your advice and won 7 of my recent 8 games! This video is giving me some devious ideas. Dink; Dink; Bam! See you at the top young man😎
I just switched to the Engage Pro. I always played elongated but tried the standard shape and Wow. You should try the 13mm standard shape the volleys are so easy with the expanded side real estate.
3rd Shot Drive would you also suggest aiming for Runners BackHand if you have the skill? Still waiting for Advantages/Disadvantages in being a Lefty (or did I miss it?)
Yes Always aim toward their backhand! As a lefty, the advantage is being able to close the middle with a forehand rather than a backhand! Their are not any disadvantages of it if you understand your role in the team!
@@tanner.pickleball I agree, I really think strategy is evolving with paddle tech and the quality of drives from tennis players coming in. Even at the pro level, I am noticing more and more 3rd shot drives...anyone equating that to being a "banger" is stuck in the past. Also, try hitting a 3rd shot drop in any kind of wind!
Maybe this will help with pro career

Love to hear that John! Many more videos coming! What level do you play at?

Great to hear! I plan on doing more 4.0 level drills / videos. That seems to be the level the majority of players are!@@johnwray9825
Well explained! It's not the first time that advice to advanced players is different compared to advice at a lower level.
Thanks brother!

how come on the forehand you do not slide if you know its coming? I thought you had a video on that at one point? Great info thank you
Good question, you do!! This is just a drill to practice fast hand speed!
Thanks for all the help you give. it really is game changing stuff 👍🏽
Happy to help!
I really like your videos you break it down easy to understand 👍🏻
Glad to hear it!

Best pickleball content. Keep it up big wheel.
Thanks! Will do!
Another amazing video 😂
Thanks!!
Love your vids. Do you have any on solo drills? Hard to find a drilling partner here.
Hey Harmless! I do not have a solo drill video, I will CERTAINLY be making one in the near future for you :)
Getting low to avoid the chicken wing. What a great tip!
Glad it was helpful!
Good luck next year! Are you playing APP or PPA?
I would love to do both! Planning on doing the APP

Let me know if you need a logo design
Reach out to me on instagram! @tanner.pickleball, I would love to see your work!
🔥
Thanks!
you degrade 3rd shot drops and claim drives are better??Really, because other utubers say otherwise.
I like both. This helps with nerves!
