nice assembly could mention about the deep cable groove placement ones shallower than other on how to place on cable. I found the directions in box to very vague on alot of things . scope battery etc . Also mine broke on 2nd shot bummer just bad luck with KE for me i guess

What crossbow do you use and why?
Hey James! Great question. I’m currently using the Killer Instinct Swat X1 for a number of reasons including: Value, accuracy, innovation and size. I hunt a lot out of climbing treestands and ladder stands where space is limited. Having a compact crossbow that’s accurate and shoots 405 FPS is perfect for my needs. Best of luck this season 🦌👍🏻
As a union member, I usually investigate where products come from. Try to support American workers and their families whenever possible. I think I see where these crossbows are made in Twain. I'll stick with my TenPoint or a WickedRidge if on a budget.....

Y did they recall and discontinued going get one last year wasn't quite able financially then poof like fart in wind there gone.
Killer crossbows are junk ,i have one always broke .have fired it 12 times in 3 years ,have hunted once .something always breaks on the bow .made in tiawan .
thanks for quickly getting back to me on assemby of my new ki vital x bow. went out to hand cock with narrow sled cocker tonight just before dark. good news.... cooler/dryer air kept mosquitos off me. bad news....tried 3 times to cock and i could tell just how come it suppoedly shoots so fast at 185 peak wt! could tell i was going to strain my back and/or the three hernias i'm pretty sure i have had for years now. just for the h of it, i'm going to dig out my ki 380 i have hunted with the last several years and shoot a pracrice arrow to make sure i haven't weenied out since last deer season. also ordered ki slim sled crank for it....supposed to come this friday. my vision is bad and my better eye started bleeding again last week after i strained a bunch disconnecting/pulling deck from my aging lawn tractor for repairs. went to eye surgeon yesterday and he put me back on injections to try to prevent further bleeding... which i already went through last year affter straining/working on toilet plumming job. i hoped the advertized 50% breakover would allow me not to straun, but just like any vericle bow set-up, speed and high breakover usually require steep initial draw force curve to make up for breakover at mid to late part of the draw. in the back of my mind, i knew eye bleeding might well call for the first cranking system i have ever used on a xbow of any kind/make, but at 72 1/2 what else is new. at least ki already has this speed demon set up for it....heck, i might really like it! one can do away with stirrup to help oftset some of the overall hunting weight increase on your body as crank weighs about a pound. sorry for being so long winded, but my experience might help a fellow deer hunter to save wear and tear on his or her body while chasing those deer. thanks again for your down to earth videos and product help!!!!
