Thanks for your videos on the X1! Mine just came in the mail, I’m excited to get it going. Do you have recommendations for applying rail lube with the enclosed barrel? I’ve looked around online and found some differing opinions.
Can you talk about the use of the included quiver? I had the original Swat and the quiver, especially the quiver mount, was something I did not like about it! Recently got my Swat X1 and unfortunately it comes with the same mount and quiver! I don't see the mount on your Swat, are you using it?
My X1 has a curious rattle from what I think is the trigger assembly. Also, has a springy twang when fired. Does yours do the same? I emailed KI and they said they had no idea why mine rattles. Then said to go have it checked out by a KI dealer. I am in the process of making time to do that now.
If I play with the trigger it will rattle, I'm sure if I shake it hard enough it will also, but it does not seem to have any impact on shooting it for what that's worth let me know what you find out!
@@Deathbybunjie If I just hold it in my hands not touching the trigger and shake it a little there is a noticeable metallic rattle. If you do the same and it makes the same sound mines does you will know it.
You say, "Get 20 dialed in perfectly. If you do that, it makes a big difference down the road the longer distances." You sighted your scope in at 20 yards. Your scope is mounted above your arrow so your line of sight is above the arrow when it's in the barrel. When you shoot, your arrow flies in an arc. On a fairly long shot, is it possible that it crosses the line of sight while on its way up, travels above the line of sight for a while and finally crosses it again when the arrow is on its way down? So, if you sight in at 20 yards, are you sighting in at a distance where the arrow is still traveling upward? Now, when you begin to sight in at 50 yards, is it possible that the arrow is still above the line of sight? OR-at these arrow speeds and hunting distances, is the arrow always below the line of sight?
Great question! There is an arc at every distance. That Arrow starts falling the minute it leaves the crossbow. In order to hit 20 you have to aim up in the air. In order to hit 50 you have to aim even farther up in the air. The nice thing about the scope is that it takes into account all of that stuff LOL
@@Deathbybunjie So, when sighted in at 50 yards, it's possible that the arrow has crossed the line of sight on its upward travel and again crossed the line of sight at 50 yards on its downward flight? If so, then your scope is actually sighted in at two distances. Is it true, then, that when taking a shot at something less that 50 yards the shooters need to adjust their "hold" differently if the arrow is rising, falling or crossing the line of sight on its upward travel and no adjustment to the "hold" is required? I may need to sketch this out to see if that's a reasonable thought. You need to stop making me think this much.
@@paulmillen2101 yeah, I do think you're overthinking it LOL the trajectory is compensated for in the scope and you don't have to hold high or low, the scope to do that for you. That entire trajectory is taken into account with the marks in the scope if it is done right.
@@Deathbybunjie Oh, dumb me! When you said, "Get 20 dialed in perfectly. If you do that, it makes a big difference down the road the longer distances" you were addressing the range finding scopes. Since I don't have one, I had reverted to my non-rangefinding scope mode where the arrow's arc in relation to the line of sight requires careful thinking when shooting at ranges other that the sighted-in range. In some cases the shooter must hold low when shooting at a distance greater than the sighted in distance. Sorry to have wasted your time.
Not sure if they're the same or not, I use the Parker Lumenok or a GTC from Lumenok but I know scorpyd doesn't like that, you have to check with them or one of the nock manufacturers
Hi! Why did you switch from deathstalker to swat so quickly (after one season)? Swat is very impressive crossbow, but it is not reverse limb solution (best solution according your videos from past).
Buy a small pipe cutter. Quality one. Works perfect for resizing your bolts to any size. If you've already done that, and I didn't see it in another video, I apologize. If not, worth it.😊
Hey Rick I got a question to ask you bud how come you want to shoot such a heavy Arrow and it would be flattered to directory and it would be better overall I don't understand why you want to shoot such a heavy Arrow out of that crossbow when you can actually be getting more foot-pounds and more speed if you want a little bit lighter
Actually you get more energy with a heavier arrow but I do like the flatter trajectory you're talking about, but these arrows just worked out to this weight LOL heavier is isn't a bad thing but lighter is a bad thing if that makes any sense
How do you feel about the swat x one after having had it for a couple of weeks, and how do you remove a bolt from the crossbow without firing it, say to climb a treestand?
I shot it again this weekend and still enjoy it! To get the arrow out I just need it forward and push the red lever the opposite direction and it will fall right out the front end onto the ground. I would not grab it or anything like that, but it's pretty easy to remove it.
@@Deathbybunjie unfortunately the Deal over this holiday weekend appears to be over... so the price is back up to the Tenpoint or Excalibur range.. I already have a Bungie Jr.. but have been thinking about a 400 fps range.
after removing the arrow in the described fashion, you can actually decock it the same way you would decock an Excalibur, using the cocking rope. As long as you moved the safety to the fire position before removing the arrow.
The only thing I hate about those lumanocks is that they are hard to turn off. I even have the tool and still have to shake the crap out of the arrows!!!
Your cocking device didn't bounce off the floor into your left pocket, did it? LOL VERY quiet crank. Is the scope's remote wireless? Come on, you know I already named it. LOL How is the X1s balance compared to B 3.0?
Yes wireless, and the balance is different, it feels denser if that makes any sense, and it's definitely a two hand crossbow whereas the scorpyd you almost feel like you could do it with one hand
I should do a video on this but basically I tilt the crossbow down, move the red lever, and let the arrow fall on the ground if I am on the ground, but in a tree stand I let it fall onto my seat cushion. Neither event I hold the crossbow about one ft away from the ground or cushion so I can land and then I can just grab it before it leaves the crossbow. Then I load the decocking arrow and go from there. I hope that helps!
You should be shooting at the OracleX boxes…with the scopes still in the boxes. 😂 I think you buy arrows based on their names….Zombie Slayers, Dragon Claws, etc. what’s next? Monster Maulers? Vampire Vanquishers? Dromedary Destroyers? Lol

How many frames per second is your camera set at when it when it is recording in slow motion?
960 fps, just starting to play with that
Do you use a Lumenok lighted nock for your Deathstalker? I have a Tremor but I imagine they're about the same.
Not sure if they're the same or not, I use the Parker Lumenok or a GTC from Lumenok but I know scorpyd doesn't like that, you have to check with them or one of the nock manufacturers
What cameras do you use for filming deer hunting? I have a go pro but it has no zoom i was going to get another with zoom any suggestions?
Check out Tactacam...and your phone, that's what I use.
@@Deathbybunjie what model on tactacam?? I was thinking about getting the newest one
@@daltonisom6265 I have the 5.0 I am not sure about the new ones but I bet they're pretty good
Hi! Why did you switch from deathstalker to swat so quickly (after one season)? Swat is very impressive crossbow, but it is not reverse limb solution (best solution according your videos from past).
I haven't really switched, I intend to use both, and for what it's worth it was two seasons.
Oh it's gonna be Bunjie the 4th right?
Perhaps!
So my swatx1 just got here today. Do I need to lube the cables and barrel right away or after get some shots on it first?
Probably get it done before too long but keep an eye on it, should be good
@@Deathbybunjie okay it is weird to me all the strings and cables are all serving material hardly any string showing I’m used to Excalibur
@@Deathbybunjie I got that swatx1 today it was a 11/07/2020 got one of first ones I guess from wyvern maybe that’s why they have 100 mail in rebate 😂
@@stevenhicks815 it's kinda nice because they stay in tune really well, not a lot to adjust
Buy a small pipe cutter. Quality one. Works perfect for resizing your bolts to any size. If you've already done that, and I didn't see it in another video, I apologize. If not, worth it.😊
Thanks for the tip!
Rick, did you shoot more than one arrow? Or did you Sight it in with one arrow
I've shot almost all of the Dragon claws at one point, some of them more than once
Well.. still $799 on their website as of this morning....
@@mattfarr1323 back to 999 now
after removing the arrow in the described fashion, you can actually decock it the same way you would decock an Excalibur, using the cocking rope. As long as you moved the safety to the fire position before removing the arrow.
The only thing I hate about those lumanocks is that they are hard to turn off. I even have the tool and still have to shake the crap out of the arrows!!!
HAVE YOU EVER USED A CHIEF AJs BIG GAME SLING BOW OR A BALLISTA BAT REVERSE DRAW PISTOL CROSSBOW .
Nope but I do hear about them from time to time, good stuff?
Your cocking device didn't bounce off the floor into your left pocket, did it? LOL
VERY quiet crank.
Is the scope's remote wireless?
Come on, you know I already named it. LOL
How is the X1s balance compared to B 3.0?
Yes wireless, and the balance is different, it feels denser if that makes any sense, and it's definitely a two hand crossbow whereas the scorpyd you almost feel like you could do it with one hand
You got a new bow???😊
Check last Friday's video haha
I have a boss 405 and lethal 405
Rich how do you get the arrow out to put one in to decock it?
I should do a video on this but basically I tilt the crossbow down, move the red lever, and let the arrow fall on the ground if I am on the ground, but in a tree stand I let it fall onto my seat cushion. Neither event I hold the crossbow about one ft away from the ground or cushion so I can land and then I can just grab it before it leaves the crossbow. Then I load the decocking arrow and go from there. I hope that helps!
@@Deathbybunjie yea thank you that helps I wasn’t sure how to release the arrow you know
@stevenhicks815 red lever works to load and unload, pretty slick
@@Deathbybunjie I’m excited to get it
You should be shooting at the OracleX boxes…with the scopes still in the boxes. 😂 I think you buy arrows based on their names….Zombie Slayers, Dragon Claws, etc. what’s next? Monster Maulers? Vampire Vanquishers? Dromedary Destroyers? Lol
LOL about the boxes and you're probably right about the arrows, it's all about fun!
You could send me one of them Burris oracle scopes lol
😆😅🤣
What happened to the Scorpyd?
Nothing! That's not going anywhere!
Hope I win the vital x from dragging deer but if I do not I'll shoot the NXT 400 from wicked ridge so far its been greatly
L a
34 days till crossbow season for me.
That's great good luck!
I shoot piledrivers-150 grn Magnus, hits hard at 35 yrds, and very accurate, must use different aiming points,or I’ll break arrows
That's 👍 great
@@Deathbybunjie where’s the Death Stalker? Still a better bow? I’ve been looking around at one, just bare bones model, Ten point is way too much for me, even tho they are like 45 mins if that, siege model
Dang Big Man, you keep PLAYIN with all these other Crossbows and OG BUNGIE is gonna get PISSED! 🤣🤣
😅🤣
You know how Main Squeezes feel about side chicks!😜😎
Hey buddy I ordered a swat x1 I know nothing about it. Can you help me little bit?
I've done a bunch of videos on it, watch those videos and ask any questions you have. Keep an eye on your strings and cables, I talked about that in one video but that's the only problem I've had with mine.
@@Deathbybunjie do they just wear fast
@@stevenhicks815 no the new sets wear great
@@Deathbybunjie that’s good to hear. I ordered one form wyvern so hopefully not been sitting on shelf forever and old one lol
@@Deathbybunjie how long of vanes you have to shoot with the swat x1
Are you going totake the X-1 out on your first hunt and Christen it???, what's you hunting rotation going to be like, LOL
We're going to have to wait and see, and quite frankly I don't know, a lot can happen lol
But right now that's the only one with a scope on it so there's that haha
I didnt know you got another crossbow? Whaaat? Lol.
Have you ran into any issue with the x1?
Not at all but I've only had it for a couple of weeks
Thanks. many shots? Cause a couple of weeks with it is all I need lol
@mikes8915 two to three dozen shots so far
Did I miss something? Did you buy a swat x1 rich?
Yes you missed it, check out review video from last week, good stuff 😆
My bad, I’ve been trying to stay up to date on crossbow appreciation month videos but it’s been crazy in our neck of the woods. I’ll watching that video next
Do uhave a swat x one
Yeppers!
Dragon Claws are what Genevieve should be shooting out of Bunjie Jr. Literally same end product as the Pro Flight hodgepodge, but a lot less work, less $$, and less risk damaging the carbon from the heat.
She's probably going to be shooting Dragon Claws, but maybe not out of Bunjie Jr lol
@@Deathbybunjie lol, I was kinda gathering that from her familiarity of cranking it in the video.
Great crossbow!
@tythomps that really was just her second time cranking it! We'll see how it goes over time.
@@Deathbybunjie I bet she could rope cock that X1 easy. My wife is 5'10" and can rope cock her Ibex (same pull as the OB) and can also rope cock a Matrix 380. But doesn't have the strength to rope cock any micro above the 308 Short.
Name it something like ( fly swat, fly swatter etc!) it fly's and swats😂
Congratulations on acquiring an exciting new crossbow! I'm sure that OB is going to be in a state of depression now for sure. Hey, check out this guy who recommends Sirius Phoenix Shafts, 490-grain total weight with a 20 FOC. He shoots two KI Swats, with great success at 60 yards. ua-cam.com/video/rZXxsGe76_c/v-deo.html
Good luck this season Rich!
Congratulations on the new crossbow! May it serve you well, kill many deer, and enhance your joy of crossbow hunting! 👍🏼
With that crank, does that have a safety feature if your hand slips off of it, that it won’t spin around and crack your hand. Because let me tell you that will definitely scare your daughter away from the crank. Trust me, I know I have a older Raven model that doesn’t have that safety feature, and I messed up once pretty sure I broke my knuckle and almost passed out definitely was not fun and my hand swelled up instantly.
So far she likes this crank more than the Excalibur one, it just doesn't seem to be struggling as much
Shoot that funky Crossbow white boy! lol
😅
That crossbow is legit sexy
I might be able to buy a string for one of these 😂😂😂
Yeah they're pricey I get that 💯
