Yup. It also hurts us legit people. As a copywriter and copywriting coach I've had so many people shut me out because of scams they've tried in the past.
First off, this seems like a it should be used as a good learning lesson, not just “he scammed me what a piece of shit.” I will never understand why people see guarantees being offered and think they provide enough security to purchase xyz program, let alone paying for your ADSPEND. If you go partner with or buy a restaurant for example, they’re not gonna “guarantee” a certain number of customers a month lmao, they’re just gonna show you their data and let you make a decision. Also, I would never take words as gospel on a demo unless it’s in writing in the contract - maybe posting some images of it would provide viewers more clarity. Pretty sure these programs are more effective once you’ve scaled past 10k/mo anyways. Not to say you didn’t experience what you’re saying, but some good lessons to be had here.
I agree that this situation offers valuable lessons. However, under US law, contracts do not have to be in writing to be enforceable; verbal agreements can also constitute valid contracts. In this case, the commitment to cover my ad spend was made during a verbal agreement. US law protects verbal contracts if the terms are clearly agreed upon during the call intended for making the sale. This verbal contract should be considered binding just as if it were in writing according to US Law.

So are you telling me that after he shows proof of at least 30-40 testimonials on a video that it works and through every step of the way you say that he's a scam? Even tho at the end, he did not say explicitly that they were going to pay for the ads? People reading this comment, there's always two coins of the story and Im more than sure that their side of the coin was the right one.
Ok, if that’s what you think, I provided you with proof that they said they would cover my ad spend when I joined the program for up to 5-10 qualified appointments. If you believe that video is fake, I don’t know what to tell you; that was pulled from my sales call with them. It’s this simple in business: if you sell someone a $10,000 program and promise them the moon and the stars, in my case, I was promised that they would run my ads until I got 5-10 qualified appointments. Then, when you join the program and ask if they could run your ads, they say no, we never agreed to that. When you provide a recording of the call, they say, "oh, hop on a call with Serge." Then I do, and he proceeds to kick me out of the program, wasting a month of my time and also taking $2,000, although the contract said all money would be returned if I didn’t get 5-10 qualified appointments, which I never did. Then Serge proceeded to blame me. Also, you have to remember, testimonials for a person like Serge are easy to get, so your argument is terrible. All he has to do is just ask people once they get into the program for 2 weeks to film a testimonial, which even I would have done at the beginning. But the longer I stayed, the less they cared about me, and then they stopped following the contract. So yes, if you do not follow your contract with someone, then you are a scammer. Contracts by US law are verbal and written. But hey, I am not going to stop you from joining his program, so go ahead. This is just a fair warning.
Thank you for your comment. However, I wouldn't describe my experience as an investment. The coaching on Facebook ads was quite disappointing. When I ran my own ads, I achieved results that were ten times better. From a business perspective, the situation is clear. I signed a contract stating that they would pay for my ads until I received 5-10 qualified appointments. This condition was not fulfilled. While I did receive some coaching, the contract explicitly promised a full refund if the 5-10 qualified appointments were not met. There was no clause stating that the coaching alone would negate the refund. Given that the terms of the contract were not honored, I believe it is fair to say that Serge did not adhere to the agreed terms. Thus making him a scammer for stealing 2 grand away from a minor! Let me know your thoughts.
Just a heads up. Its not serges fault, its your fault. you should've utilized what was given better. You're lucky you got a refund too man, most coaches would just kick you out.
LOL, I got a refund because they didn’t honor their guarantee. They promised to cover the ad spend until I received 5-10 qualified appointments, but once I joined the program, they said they never mentioned that during the call. The only reason I might agree that I'm lucky is because I had recorded the call (which they new I was recording). That's the sole reason they issued a refund; if they didn’t, I could have initiated a chargeback with my bank because they didn't deliver what they promised, which in banking terms is considered a scam. Also what would Serge kick me out for? Is it for making sure his company would follow there word?
Interesting I was about to join the 4 week program where he scales one someone’s agency with the B&R offer. From the review I’m assuming it won’t be worth it?
I'd say don't go with his 4-week program. His salespeople promise one thing but then don't deliver. When you ask for what they promised, they deny it. So, if you buy it, just know most of the promises won't be kept.

Serge's team tried to get me qualified real estate real estate leads. This meant that the leads were interested, trustworthy, and able to pay. Also I believe Serges program's was increased to $20,000, but I'm not entirely sure.
I appreciated the coaching I received for Facebook ads, but it didn’t translate into acquiring clients, unlike when I managed ads on my own. As for them not giving me my full refund, their reasoning was that there were Stripe fees, but if you do the math, you know that’s not true. You mentioned that they didn’t give me a full refund because they provided coaching and automations, but that was not their reasoning. They cited Stripe fees as the reason, but as I’ve said, the math doesn’t add up.
