I saw this video of this guy who scaled to 0-20k as a beginner with Serge. ua-cam.com/video/nKDpygxQOZE/v-deo.html I think it's cool you actually got $10k back plus $1k on ad spend - So $11k and you technically only paid $1k to learn all of their system and to work with their team. I think it shows they're more authentic and actually keep their word. Also it's given that getting every single clients results isn't possible for any cohort. I bought a service from Connor Healy and the fucker ghosted me after I paid $10k. You guys obviously don't know much about telecom. If Air Ai is charging 11 cents per minute (and probably not even in 6/6 second increment billing (which would mean 11 cents per call, regardless if the call last 10 seconds) your paying roughly $7 an hour without Vonage or Twilio attached. When you are using a carrier like Vonage for your business, you should not be paying more than .012 per minute billed in 6/6, and even that is a high rate.

Will this work if I run a coaching program? How would you do it?

First off, this seems like a it should be used as a good learning lesson, not just “he scammed me what a piece of shit.” I will never understand why people see guarantees being offered and think they provide enough security to purchase xyz program, let alone paying for your ADSPEND. If you go partner with or buy a restaurant for example, they’re not gonna “guarantee” a certain number of customers a month lmao, they’re just gonna show you their data and let you make a decision. Also, I would never take words as gospel on a demo unless it’s in writing in the contract - maybe posting some images of it would provide viewers more clarity. Pretty sure these programs are more effective once you’ve scaled past 10k/mo anyways. Not to say you didn’t experience what you’re saying, but some good lessons to be had here.
