Yes indeed, we need to consider very carefully whether we should bring back extinct species such as the great mammoths and.. oh who am I kidding, get on that! That's awesome! Yes, dinosaurs, all of them! bring them all back. I can't wait. This kind of technology is massively exciting and I thoroughly expect the rate or pace of how quickly it improves will fall in line roughly with Moores law, as it seems to be a heavily computational driven technology.
Not a good a speaker. And that disconcerting tuft of hair at the back of his head.... really symbolic of his quasi-ridiculous & unsettling ideas for the future.
This kind of technology can't be trusted, Implications are vast, and unregulated. Splicing/Hybridizing genes should stay within books. For the all the companies/corporations/logos that were up on the screen these are people whom you need to check their backgrounds. Especially some of the really big names, find out what they are for, and what they are against. For anyone who's willing to say, this is for the better of human kind, better think again.
Well, maybe a little, however if we use this for a righteous cause, then I say why the hell not. If it can help the arctic, why not engineer a mammoth or woolly rhino, if you can save a species, why not enhance the intelligence of an ape or a dolphin. O do admit that I sound kind of like a maniac, but all of these things are valid concepts being looked to into modern science.
If we in America don't do it, some other country will. At least if we do it, we can exert some control over it. Mankind must continue to use his mind for the betterment of us all. We must keep that in mind when we judge what we will allow science to do.
George wants a friend like himself
his hair is tripping me out..
Absolutely wonderful, I hope this community stays on target and doesn't let these goals be forgotten! As a future student I will pursue them.
How'd that work out?
i love the work from the Man!
good luck and hope you will win!
interesting topic, but didn't understand a word he was saying. i am not a scientist. so talk to me like i am a 5 year old.please.

Dinosaur bone are rock, we will never be able to bring back dinosaurs.
Cool! Let's give the mammoths bizarre colorations such as green and purple. It's not like they would have predators so does coloration matter? :p
