As much as I love training triathlon as recreational athletes, I understand that financial limitations can significantly impact how much you can get out of your training and how much training you can do. I have a limited amount of tool but I’ll continue to grind because this is the sport I love and nothing makes me feel happier and more accomplished. God bless these athletes and I wish them a long successful career

Super cool insight. But I wonder how body weight differences would affect the speed outcome. Always wanted to hear this from Olav.

Just wonder what Kenyans and Ethiopians would be capable of if they had access to this money and tech

I still dont get it why aerodynamics would be so important, since the bike in the olympic distance race is usually a group ride.

Every Watt counts, even in a Peloton

Blu typically spends a lot of time on the front. Could also be important if they're trying to catch up to the lead pack (Gustav) or gain some separation heading into T2.

Need to understand how important it is to save watts through more aerodynamics. Wether in the peleton or time trial. Being more aerodynamic counts to saving watts

Since we're at thermodynamics, can someone explain why they keep wearing black?

    • @johanhagner2341

Black is actually the most efficient colour at releasing heat (and absorbing). :) It goes hand in hand: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black-body_radiation . So it depends on how much you will absorb from the outside vs generating from the inside

Yes, this is quite normal for bodytemperature testing. They validate the Core sensor like this (among other things)
