If only this was possible with the Apple Watch (non-Ultra) while holding the action button.
This is a massive issue on Apple’s part. I was in a situation in which I tried called 911 while hidden regarding an altercation and was profoundly startled upon hearing the loud countdown alert. I was concerned that the people in the altercation heard the countdown.

Good point but for me I always leave my watch on silent since it has a vibration already whenever I revive a notification or call all you need to do is press and hold on the side button and it will start a countdown from 5 without any noise (if you have your ringer off) and then call emergency services. Hope this helped! :)

@@Alwardif_Thanks for your reply. I keep both my phone and watch on silent at all times. When holding down the action button, the countdown alarm will still go off.

Almost accidentally did this with my iPhone 14 Pro Max because I was tryna remember how to restart it
I held down the power button and as soon as it showed the SOS text I immediately let go of the power button
Thankfully 911 wasn’t called by accident lol
