I’m an Airbus pilot. Landing inhibit on the upper ECAM is fine. It inhibits any non essential ECAM warnings so you don’t get distracted during landing. Same thing with take off inhibit 💪🏽
Hey Jeff! Excellent video as always. A few points from a real world A320 pilot if you don't mind: - Engine start sequence on the A320 series is No2 then No1. You usually never start engine 1 first - On take-off you push the stick half scale deflection forward and leave it there until 80kts. Then you slowly release it so that you reach the neutral position at 100kts. If you take off with a tailwind or strong crosswind component you follow the same procedure but with full forward deflection - Whenever you see visible moisture (rain, snow, clods, fog,...) and the temperature is between -40 and +10 degrees celcius, you must switch on the engine anti-ice. To see whether you need wing anti-ice you use the small probe in the middle of the windscreen (the small tube that sticks out there). If you can see ice building up on that it is time for wing anti ice. - On the approach the FD showed a pitch up command the entire time. The Airbus philosophy is that you always must follow the FDs and if you don't you must switch them off - Wind: We get the winds aloft uploaded via ACARS automatically, so I have never had to enter them manually. Sometimes we are parked at an awkward spot at the airport (near a large terminal building for example) and we can't get an ACARS signal. In such cases we simply input the average wind component on the INIT page (we get these from our OFP). Once we push back and get a signal the aircraft will get the correct winds again, but in theory the average wind component would be sufficient. Keep up the great work, I like how professional you are on the flightdeck :-)
Hi! I am a Pilot for Allegiant airlines and one of our most popular planes to fly is the Airbus A320! I was wondering if you could use that plane, and a skin for Allegiant! Love your videos Jeff!
Hey, just some tips. Airbus procedures are as follows: - You should call out every FMA change out loud. For takeoff the callout was "Man Toga SRS Autothrust Blue" - Wing lights should not be on on the ground. They need airflow to avoid overheat. And there's no point putting them on during daylight. - Ground spoilers should be armed after selecting gear down, as you still may need them before. - during final approach I noticed there wasn't any glideslope. Your FMA remained in ALT mode. Therefore you're FD wanted you to go up. When flying a LOC approach, use TRK/FPA mode or put the FD off, don't stay with incorrect info on tour PFD. Upon landing the callout is "spoilers, reverse green, Decel" - The wheel page wasn't displayed because you had the FCTL page selected. Deselect the page. Airbus will display the appropriate page for you for the phase of flight. Same thing for takeoff, you had Wheel selected. Best Regards
Hey Jeff! Super80 Tom here from over on Twitch and TWA717 here on YT. Just wanted to let you know I am really enjoying your videos here showcasing the TCA Thrustmaster Side Stick and also loving the XP Realistic V2 which looks like it does a great job adding in much more realistic turbulence effects among other efx as well which has always been a source of disappointment for me when it comes to desktop sims vs. IRL flying - it's usually just too smooth all the time. I want bumps, vibration, and noise for immersion. I had the opportunity to fly a A320 Level D Sim two years ago and I can tell you as a yoke yanker all my career in Boeings and MD's that flying the side stick on the Left side took some getting used to especially since I have flown most of the Desktop flying with my right hand and throttles on the left side with the TM Warthog setup. There is built in force feedback on the real airplane of course so I am really looking forward to getting my TM Side Stick to get a sense for the sensitivity and input sensing in hand flying as well as the throttles along with the flaps speed-brake and gear modules when they are ready. Do you happen to know when the Side Stick and Throttle Bundle is going to be available? I have not seen anything about the ability to pre-order it yet? Thanks again Jeff for posting these awesome videos and look forward to the Next Airbus flight! Take Care Man...
Jeff when you encounter turbulence like this for realism if you are in speed mode and above 10000 feet select speed to 275 and if mach mode is on select speed to .76 from an A320 pilot
Zyonix007 I mean like he can set it,to look there is a dust plume. Probably can put low visibility, cloud height will be a little high and winds can be strong.
May your family and loved ones, stay healthy. Mr Jeff, I appreciate you and your friends BRINGING SUNSHINE TO A COUNTRY THAT IS SEEING "ONE OF THE WORST TIMES!" This pandemic will test all americans toughness. 3 human beings murdered in one month. Be safe my sir
Hi Jeff! Awesome video, missed your XPlane videos, you should start doing International flights or at least flights outside the US Also were those clouds custom clouds?
Great vid Jeff! Glad to see x plane content back again! Baby bus is such a fun plane to fly especially with that Sidestick. Stay save and God bless buddy! (Ps; you should fly to Amarillo sometime, cool little airport with a super long and wide runway.)
Hey jeff, I was wondering if you could show how you got all of your software that makes your flying more realistic, im an aspiring summer and I dont know how to do the software part. Love the vids!
how do you get your toliss to look that good? is it just higher settings or an addon? the shaders look amazing. I have it on high and it doesnt look anything like that

This was fun to watch since my dad flys this entire type rating family of airbus’s for American. Keep up the good content! Also could u do a LAX to HNL on the a321 NEO?
Hello, Jeff! I enjoy your videos and especially your X-Plane videos. I was wondering if you could do a Southwest flight out of Chicago Midway, one of Southwest’s biggest hubs. You could maybe fly down to Memphis, Louisville, or even Dallas Love Field. Have a great day!
Hey Jeff, What specs are on your current gaming pc? I’m in the process of finding parts for my new build and I’m looking for tips of what parts I should get for the new Microsoft flight sim coming out.
My home state's largest city and the most haunted city in the nation and city with the best food and parades in the nation, WELCOMES YOU!! WELCOME TO NEW ORLEANS!
right now im using a saitek x52 hotas, but the hotas you are using i want BADLY lol. price is pretty reasonable. plus i have thrustmaster pedals. i enjoy flying the airbuses, as well as boeings. im not a fanboy of either one. both are pretty good.
I was actually wondering if you were using some sort of custom audio plugin for your pa announcements or if those were just edited into the video. Was actually really intrigued by that. Appreciate your videos!
Mr jeff, thx for all the video game shows. You make people think"jeff has time to plz the fans,we can all learn to take some time forselves and enjoy them" Hope you and your family are well in pandemic. Sadly,my state has tripled the cases in 2 wks
Jeff would love to see you do a video of the worlds shortest scheduled flight, from Westray to Papa Westray in the Orkney islands, the flight itself is only a coupe minutes so should be a short video.
Hey Jeff. Great video (again) ! You are a real pilot :) ! I have a question: How did you learned to play flight simulator? I want it so bad, but i don't know how to learn everything that's on the plane. Did you followed a course, or something els? This could realy help me. Thanks in advance ;)
If you're interested, there are a ton of tutorials on UA-cam and a wealth of information available on the internet. I would suggest starting small with General Aviation, so think Cessna's etc...Get comfortable with those. Jumping to an Airliner would not be what I would suggest. However, if you feel ready, just learn each system one at a time, and get a good checklist. Also understanding flight plans helps tremendously. I've spent a large amount just sitting at the gate practicing and learning, as well as reading offline.
Never flown an airplane, never been on an airplane, but watching these videos allow me to pretend like I know what I'm saying when I talk to people about airplanes. They also allow me to use fancy airplane jargon when I'm sat behind my keyboard typing out of my ass on airplane sim message boards.

What a coincidence. Saturday I’m flying an Allegiant flight, if google is accurate on flights, it’ll be an A320
Technology Central That’s awesome! I hope you have a great flight!
Lastmst yeah, a little nervous, haven’t flown in 6 years
Technology Central If it’s really bad make sure to notify the flight attendants they will check up on you!
Lastmst thanks for the info!
My man just chillin' in the engine with his tug. 😄
He do be chillin doe.
Boss: JAKE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Jake: Just Vibin’
He was fired due to company policies, if anyone wants to know.
Lol
Love those PTU sounds at 4:33
cmsumera 1 Something I always look forward to when I get on the A321.

Nice landing! You flew into my home airport, MSY! Great seeing the new terminal also!
Yes another Xplane video. I can't wait to see you start playing microsoft flight sim 2020.
Because of you, I know fly the A320 and I found it amazing thanks Jeff
for storms, most real pilots decide to delay the flight or cancel it until they move out of the area
I believe I can fly! I believe I can touch the sky!
Very realistic airplane and beautiful how you fly the plane! Great as always Jeff.
Beautiful. Sad that new orleans is shutting down the terminal on the South side at the airport but they have a beautiful new one on the north side.
Glad to see a video of you flying into my hometown! I’m actually flying out of KMSY on Friday going to KGEG! Going to be really exciting!

Love the video like always Jeff‼️ would be a nice update, if Xplane if people can join a flight, as passengers!
Fornite_king That would be awesome! I would fly first class on Jeff’s plane
@@liamhosking2947 'cause most of his flights are empty in terms of passengers....considering it's just a sim

Hi Jeff, love your vids. Does this MSY scenery have SAM Jetways or Autogate?
Please make a video explaining flight navigation and how to set the flight plan
I love this side stick 100%. Makes flight sims so much more realistic when flying an Airbus at least
Finally doing it to my City! Love the videos btw 😁
Oh my butterrr!😱 That was such a smooth landing!👏🔥💯
The descent wind page can be found on the INIT Page under the 'Winds' tab. I can't remember if it appears before or after you enter a flight plan.
