Y'know, I have always told myself that the creators of little inferno, world of goo, And various other games, I have always told myself that they are some of the best game song writers.
Taco1011 what I liked most of all was the Little Inferno was far more then it seemed. that yeah the whole game was burning stuff with cool effects but, there was this whole other part that was quiet beautiful once your burned down your house in game :)
This made me cry so much rn. It's so ethereally beautiful, and when I remember the game, it makes me glad I'm interested in the beauty that is video games.
iDavidPark I love this part form jacksepticeye let's play :) It was the best old let's play I saw. No edit no special effects, just him playing video games. And oooh boy I love this ending
I feel like if there was a sequel to this, it would involve the kid (in the future) trying to survive in an eternal winter, and discovering the truth of why the earth is getting colder, if/how Tomorrow Corporation had a hand in it, and maybe even the world would start to thaw in the end. That sounds like a wild game
There’s already sequels. There’s the game-sized DLC set in an alternate timeline and there’s the games HRM and 7BH which take place after the earth thawed, and there’s wog2 which features cameos from LI characters and WTTISH which will likely have a major role from Soot Boy (the kid) according to smth said in the DLC. And that plotline you just made (soot boy discovering TC made the snow while trying to survive years inside a eternal winter) was EXACTLY what little inferno itself was planned to be at one point; it’s in the video “trial by fire the making of little inferno”
@avimo2565 oh damn. To be honest i thought 7BH and HRM weren't connected to LI (although the only tie i can find is 8 Bit Nate becoming Boss Man and the only source for that is a random review), and i didn't know that "making of little inferno" video even existed. Also, hate to be a stickler, but i meant direct sequel, we don't see how the earth thaws if Human Resource Machine does implicitly take place after Little Inferno, for all we know, Soot Kid could be dead by that point. I would still want to play that adventure game tho
@@NaveeSealthey’re very connected as they’re in the same city with the same corporation, and yes 8-bit Nate becomes boss man while the receptionist becomes boss lady, with the latter’s past briefly being mentioned in level 8 of HRM. And HRM is confirmed to start 24 years after LI; while we don’t see the earth thaw it can be surmised it occurred as a result of Nancy’s departure and the declining popularity of the fireplaces, leading there to no longer be smoke in the air blocking out the sun or ash falling down mistaken as snow. (I always thought the snow was really ash from the burnt toys.) And I’m pretty sure Soot Boy’s alive because there’s a dialogue in the HHH DLC that heavily implies he will return in WTTISH (the upcoming adventure game) and it seems like Nancy will return too since the devs made a strange comment a few years ago “we’re still waiting for Miss Nancy to return from her extended space sabbatical” when there’s nothing in LI that indicates she’s going to return, so they were likely talking about smth WTTISH-related when they said that, and it seems like the humans will decide to return to both earth and Burnington at some point in that game since in World of Goo 2 the Curator mentions Florida making gravity laws in 2216 and the snow outside the Distant Observer’s house looks quite a lot like the Burnington snow.
@avimo2565 where is it confirmed that HRM takes place 24 years after LI? Cause i can't find anything. Also could you quote where Boss Man's past is briefly mentioned?
@@NaveeSealBoss Man says in level one of HRM “I’ve been here 24 years” if you hit tell me more, and we see him getting the job at the end of the LI:HHH DLC. And I was talking about Boss Lady’s past; she confirms she’s the same person as receptionist in level 8 of HRM on the tell me more part, and as for Boss Man’s past the entire LI:HHH DLC is all about his backstory. In addition there’s another LI-HRM connection I forgot to mention: in the end of both versions of LI Sugar Plumps ends up on a beach, and in level 18 of HRM there’s a unseen person on a beach who’s therefore implied to be sugar plumps
it surprises me how much motives present in little inferno's soundtrack are taken (or inspired) by world of goo. Here, we can hear the motif from "the last of the goo balls and the telescope operator", which signal the end of the game. I haven't played little inferno so I don't know when do you hear this music, but I'd say it is toward the end
hmm as a world of goo fan, this popped up in my reccomended I've known about little inferno, but I don't know if I should go into it or not I don't know how similar it is or what it's really about
It takes place in the same universe as WoG and has a few cameos from its characters. As for the gameplay it’s not too similar but it has the same charm and art and I’d def recommend it, and the story is amazing
0.95 playback speed: 10% more god-like. Either way, Imma head to the afterlife now. Edit circa 3/9/2021: Playback glitch no longer works. Listen to it as God and Tomorrow Corporation intended.

This is one of the most beautiful game soundtracks I have ever heard. This track sounds... heaven-like, almost.
so true...
Actually, it sounds like exiting Purgatory into Heaven.
Y'know, I have always told myself that the creators of little inferno, world of goo, And various other games, I have always told myself that they are some of the best game song writers.
It's the end of the world.
I love how the whole game is just a big metaphor
You're just a big metaphor.
You really zinged me there
I worked really hard on that one.
If you wanna see a video on it, theres a guy that made a 30 min long video about it. Just search “little inferno analysis” and youll find it
It is a big metaphor for itself. That is so brilliant.
I was totally caught off guard by this song. I was not expecting it from a weird little game like Little Inferno.
Taco1011 what I liked most of all was the Little Inferno was far more then it seemed. that yeah the whole game was burning stuff with cool effects but, there was this whole other part that was quiet beautiful once your burned down your house in game :)
Did you play the previous game, World of Goo? If not, go play that. It has a message too... Sincerely, me! :D
- The Sign Painter
-The Architect
- The Telescope Operator
For a gimmicky little fireplace simulator, Little Inferno got very dark and very beautiful.
I appreciate that.
such a deep song for such a deep game
ssshhhh no one can know
Commited Hawk totally agree
this soundtrack is angelic
"Desde el globo meteorológico, entre las columnas de humo, sobrevolando la ciudad, El hombre de el tiempo"
"Suddenly A fireplace simulator turns into a 2D Platformer game"
such a twist
Actually is point and click
I know right and then the graphics start to bend in a 3D motional way
Goes from fireplace sim to 2D platformer to 2.5D point and click.
so when playing the game in the city you have an entire orchestra on your back, playing this epic peice?
Heavy but worth it
So beautiful. Haunting but also hopeful.

True, this is the perfect game. If there ever is one
@@CooldudeVlad the new dlc sequel is also perfect
This music is beautiful beyond explanation. I was taken aback when I first played the game and have adored the soundtrack ever since.
Love, Sugar Plums

Merry Christmas everyone 🎄✨❄️
this might possibly be one of the most beautiful things i've heard in a while

but you can never go back
So much emotion in this music
Ah Kyle Gabler. This guy should started doing soundtracks for EA, Ubisoft and others games studios.
he used to work at EA before he went indie lol

Great track!
Did anyone realize that this game dramatized global cooling
I did some time ago...
No it didn’t, they just used cooling as a plot device. They really meant the game to be a metaphor for not burning away time you have
Loved it.
Woah this is pretty as all hell
Kyle Gabler you did it again...
What nice relaxing music :)
Perfect for listening to while sitting there in the warmth of your Little Inferno Entertainment Fireplace©.
