agreed! I feel like so much emphasis has gone away from historicals- which is what the brand was first known for. I'm happy to see historicals featured. Kit was my first and only AG doll so this honestly did make me especially happy to see. I enjoy your videos and your upbeat personality. Thanks for sharing this

I agree, the historical dolls should definitely be the focal point of the company. They should keep the accessories separate from the dolls though. I need a new set of accessories for Samantha, but I don't need a 6th Samantha doll even if I already sold my 2nd & 4th ones. lol
Is the Kit re-release doll going to have the slimmer body type like their other recent releases? I really want to buy the couple outfits I don't already have for my childhood Kit, but I want to know if it'll be tight.
Kit is so cute! I want the re - release so bad, but unfortunately I won't be able to get her until July. Therefore, I hope your right and that she will be staying. so i have stepped away from americangirl and my collection for about a year and a half! from what I've recently been seeing, are they basically taking the unsold 35th anniversary dolls and releasing them? that's what I'm seeing at least. and also, I hope you are healing from your appendectomy, I had my appendix burst when I was 7 years old, so I understand the pain and stress you are going through!!!

If they went with fact that Kit's birthday is in May, then they should rerelease Samantha next. Samantha's birthday is also in May! I won't get Kit. I've never been a fan of hers.
