It's finally here! This is a short film I worked on for a preproduction class a little while back. I was heavily inspired by the Stanley Parable while making it so there might be some obvious references or easter eggs to look for. I'd say this is probably one of the best animatics I've made so far. I hope you guys enjoy!

All of their co-workers were gone. What could it mean? The employee decided to go to the break room; perhaps they had simply missed a memo.
When they came to a set of two open doors, they entered the door on the left
I'm imaging the narrator narrating this, and it's hilarious
Oh my gosh, how DO you outdo yourself every single Time!? This was such a treat to watch! The surreal vibes, the environments, everything perfectly hit the vibe of the Stanley Parable! I love 432's cute lil cartoonyness in the wide shots they're sooo cute! I literally gasped seeing all the twists and turns of their unimaginable journey! And Zavvy CRUSHED it on the music! Perfect corporate gothic, so to speak! So excited for the comic!

This was certainly a roller coaster and a half. I came literally 20 seconds before the video actually began, so I was in for a pure surprise and no knowledge of what was coming. Love the fact that this was a whole journey for a cup o' Joe. If I liked coffee, I'd do that too. This is really cool, and the art is really pleasing to look at. Awesome job.✨

Both you and Asavvy did a great job putting this together. I loved the pacing and composition of all the panels, and the music was really catchy too
Woah the fast pacing, music, and narrative!!! Its so simple yet a breath of fresh air in story telling!! As a short film this is very spectacular!!! I hope you and asavvyzavvy have a great and successful career later in life!!!!!!

Woah! This is amazing! The expressions are so well done and the movements are spectacular! I loved the bit with the “coffee” covering the room so much, seeing the table sink in and just- aa! So good!
This is the second time ive seen that swooshy medium length ponytail look for a Y/N character and it is now what haircut i image the y/n characters to have now. It's androgynous, super cool, cute and classy it allows for smooth and dynamic movements without taking to much attention 10/10
this is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! loved the way it turned from black lines to white and you presented every movement in great simple details that the viewers know what's going on! GREAT WORK AAHHH IT'S ADDICTING

were the two coworkers at the end supposed to be based off The Narrator and Stanley?
Funny enough, the coworker on the right of the screen near the end definitely was inspired by Stanley but the one on the left was not inspired by the Narrator. However, when I was done editing everything I realized that he did look like he could be the Narrator so it fit anyway XDD

Loving the way the music just
Fits with each scene, it has its pauses, jumping up to down, just matching the tone with the animatic
The artstyle is appealing, not too complex, a bit simple yet goes very well with the theme
The gray shade chosen also fits with the environment and the soundtrack of the animatic,
Overall the animatic vibe gives a sort of a chaotic but robotic feel to it
