I did my own solar setup on my shed. Nice setup you have there. The only issue I can see on your setup would be the salt deposits on top of your panels. You have to clean that often as the you live near the ocean. Also, based from what I saw on that sun path, you should have a combination of series + parallel connection, very ideal on that 4 side slope roof.
I really admire kulas being so hardworking. He never waste his time for nothing. It is what the mindset of people in or coming from progressive country. Especially if he is the one responsible for all the finances. God bless you kulas. Keep safe and stay healthy🙏
Excited to watch a beach house tour probably before summer? 🙂 So very happy for you, Kulas! You and your group deserve all the success. Power on and keep safe! 💪
Just get a long bamboo stick. Get a microfiber cloth and use that to wipe off the solar panels. It doesn't take much dust, dirt or debris to lessen the efficiency of them collecting sun. Should clean them every 2 days. Yes the rain will help but dirt still builds up over time if not wiped off
Its really beautiful seeing you Kulas decided to really grow your roots in the Philippines more. Building this house shows how much you love to stay here and love Philippines. You Rock Kulas. Adopt me please hahaha

I have some suggestion Kulas. If you could build a seawall behind your fence property for atleast five feet…just in case for future storms, atleast your property will be protected….cateel is facing pacific ocean.

It's good to have the solar panel installed. Just a recommendation. According to studies, in the Philippines for maximum efficiency, solar panels must be facing south at an angle of 13.24131648° from horizontal, else the other orientation if not optimal are totally useless.
It depends where you are in the Philippines. Mindanao is about 8 degress north- too close to equator which made it close to neutral when it comes to tracking path of the sun. In other words, you can set your panel straight up and it should be ok.
@@bingespinosa1307 As you said, straight up but not angled as was on kulas' roof. So even if you're right, your suggestion imply that Kulas needs to replace his roof flat. My suggestion recommends putting all the panel facing south. Which one do you think is more feasible? And for that matter, how many residential houses in the Philippines has flat roof?
@@bingespinosa1307 either way, once it's installed. There is a way to test the output of the solar panel. There are solar panel testers you know. The optimum tilt angle of solar PV in the Philippines can be calculated by multiplying 0.812117 correction rate to the latitude.
