Today's video is explaining my experience of getting off of birth control after being on it for about 14 years. I am not a doctor so please take what I say with a grain of salt. I highly recommend talking to your doctor as well as mine was super helpful throughout this whole transition.
I was about 16 when I started talking the pill and I am 28 now. I was on multiple different kinds and reacted differently to all of them. The last two I was on, Tri lo Marzia and Tri lo Sprintec, I had a very bad reaction so decided to just try going off of the pill completely to see how my body reacted.

Thank the Lord, I have hope to lose my extra weight and lower belly pooch. Ive been off that pill for 1 month. I was on the pill for about 2 years and pretty steadily gained weight... about 15 to 20 lbs total, which shows A LOT when you go from 120 to 135 or 140. I went to my doc and was like i eat so clean and i workout daily and i keep gaining weight and cant lose it no matter what and she (a freaking woman Dr herself!) Blew me off and said it was just me aging (im only 36!) And my stress levels. She never once mentioned that it could be related to birth control. She just said it is what it is in so many words.
I feel this pain 😞 I'm hoping to get off birthcontrol in a few weeks and I'm so excited!
@@savvicky977 if it makes you feel better I am now off the pill 3 months and I've most about 5 lbs. My appetite is also more reasonable. On the pill I always felt like I couldn't get enough to eat. Good luck to you

Oh my goodness! I came off the same pill after 12 years and I have been getting migraines ever since 😵💫 and my acne also popped up around the 4 month mark

I’m on tri lo sprintec too. I find they I’m gaining weight in my lower stomach. My hunger pains are out this world and minor brain fog .

What do use for birth control now?
Is anybody experiencing breast tenderness throughout your first natural cycle after coming off the birth cobtrol pill ?
That’s completely normal because that’s what your body is supposed to do when you get your period. Birth control stops symptoms
@@mariahwatson3525 Thanks , but I usually get this kind of pain 1 week before my periods in my natural cycle ( before using birth control pill ). I used OC for 4 months and stopped last month .I am experiencing breast tenderness throughout my natural cycle now after I stooped using birth control pills
@@radhikanarayanan6817 when I was off it I had that too, it was like a forewarning that my period was coming soon. I don’t know the medical reason though.

Does anyone experience more bloating after getting off the pill?
Yes! When I went off the pill after being on it for 3 years, I gained about 20 lbs, got tons of acne, and loss over half my hair. I went back on after a year because my skin was not clearing up. Now, I have to go back off the pill due to migraine with aura. Sooo not looking forward to this at all.
@@emilychristine000 Man, I'm sorry to hear you're going through that! Could they not prescribe you migraine medication to avoid BC affects?

How’s your mental health? Are you familiar with fasting? There’s incredible testimonies from people of all types having experienced very positive results in fasting. Dry fasting although intimidating it produces favorable results sooner. There’s a religion called Ramadan that practices intermittent dry fasting and their conviction speaks volumes on its positive impacts.
