I believe that the concerns you are raising are thermal runaway and ammo cookoff. To mitigate the potential risks I would have a sealed and insulated battery cabinet and a blast and fire resistant compartmentalized ammo storage solution in addition to a full fire suppression system

Make-A-Wish pissed me off, I was paralyzed from the neck down, at 4 months old, by a virus that gave me a autoimmune disease called Transverse Myelitis. Basically Make A Wish told me I didn't qualify, Even though my friend, Who was paralyzed from the waist down due to a car crash got his Make-A-Wish. Unlike my friend, who's permanently paralyzed, I recovered some of my movement, I still have to use a wheelchair, Unless science can figure out how to reverse spinal cord damage I'm permantly locked in a chair as my main movement.

You could do a double-classication system: Keep em grouped kind of like you have, with AKs, AR15s, pistol types, snipers by caliber, etc. But then have each gold gun halfway down the wall to act as a horizontal border of gold guns 😍 Hope that makes sense.

It has to be insured at this point...many of those individual guns are $10k+ alone. I'd be shocked if the vault doesn't have at least half a million in guns in it.

Matt, I read in a survival book that you can fill just your exterior wall or all four walls in your home four feet up with something like pea gravel, sand or form your area caliche to make it bulletproof. I would like to see you build like two or three walls the size of a sheet of sheetrock 4"x8" on one side and a 4"x8" sheet of plywood on the outer side simulating a wall in a house. "What do you thank about that"
The sheet rock would definitely give way without bracing but definitely an awesome idea based from proven simple methods, I could see this working with the right supports, would love to see that video
Well, depending on where you live, you'd definitely get an ant problem. Possible way to solve it is to use sand bags. That way, you could stack it and still have structural integrity.
@@sancheznish8285 regular 1/2" drywall would probably hold, you'd just have to use more screws along the bottom to secure the gravel from spilling out, or use 5/8", or durarock, which is a heavier duty, fiber cement type of board used in bathrooms and showers. It would definitely make an interesting project to test out.
I can not express how much I would love to organize that room/collection! I would book my holidays just to do that. It would complete me. Just imagining the satisfaction when everything is in its perfect place. Beautiful and immediately comprehensible. I would be on cloud nine.

I think sorting them by the type of gun would look astetic and be practical, start with the 50bmgs and work your way down in size and have the browning mounted on its trypod in the middle
my top 3 owned firearms are 1: my great grandfather's .25 colt pocket hammerless, 2: my .22lr marlin 39A/ my first gun from my grandfather., 3: CZ527 American in .223 scoped to zero 100 yd and loop-sling. all far surpass my AR, MP5, and cz75b, glock 19, and all the rest...none compare to the value those 3 have to me. maybe my bearcat because my dad gave it to me when i was a kid

I would jus do pistols with each different sub category, then maybe the SMGs in the same way, then AR style rifles organized by caliber, then the long range style ARs on to the classic old school rifles, then to shottys by regular pump to combat shottys and so on. It's easier when lookin at the whole room. Lol I'd love to jus b the guy that keeps that room organized and the pews clean. 🤘

Unlike my friend, who's permanently paralyzed, I recovered some of my movement, I still have to use a wheelchair, Unless science can figure out how to reverse spinal cord damage I'm permantly locked in a chair as my main movement.

Keep em grouped kind of like you have, with AKs, AR15s, pistol types, snipers by caliber, etc. But then have each gold gun halfway down the wall to act as a horizontal border of gold guns 😍

Dream collection! Thats the coolest thing i have seen this year. Even with a MEGA vault like that i would be terrified to go out of town. We have ALLOT of crazy smart ppl that don't like paying for their own sh*t
It has to be insured at this point...many of those individual guns are $10k+ alone. I'd be shocked if the vault doesn't have at least half a million in guns in it.

Matt, I read in a survival book that you can fill just your exterior wall or all four walls in your home four feet up with something like pea gravel, sand or form your area caliche to make it bulletproof. I would like to see you build like two or three walls the size of a sheet of sheetrock 4"x8" on one side and a 4"x8" sheet of plywood on the outer side simulating a wall in a house. "What do you thank about that"
The sheet rock would definitely give way without bracing but definitely an awesome idea based from proven simple methods, I could see this working with the right supports, would love to see that video
Well, depending on where you live, you'd definitely get an ant problem. Possible way to solve it is to use sand bags. That way, you could stack it and still have structural integrity.
@@sancheznish8285 regular 1/2" drywall would probably hold, you'd just have to use more screws along the bottom to secure the gravel from spilling out, or use 5/8", or durarock, which is a heavier duty, fiber cement type of board used in bathrooms and showers. It would definitely make an interesting project to test out.

I think sorting them by the type of gun would look astetic and be practical, start with the 50bmgs and work your way down in size and have the browning mounted on its trypod in the middle

my top 3 owned firearms are 1: my great grandfather's .25 colt pocket hammerless, 2: my .22lr marlin 39A/ my first gun from my grandfather., 3: CZ527 American in .223 scoped to zero 100 yd and loop-sling. all far surpass my AR, MP5, and cz75b, glock 19, and all the rest...none compare to the value those 3 have to me. maybe my bearcat because my dad gave it to me when i was a kid

I would jus do pistols with each different sub category, then maybe the SMGs in the same way, then AR style rifles organized by caliber, then the long range style ARs on to the classic old school rifles, then to shottys by regular pump to combat shottys and so on. It's easier when lookin at the whole room. Lol I'd love to jus b the guy that keeps that room organized and the pews clean. 🤘
