I came late to the air fryer and instapot craze . Im older and was satisfied with my familiar small appliances .However seeing my son who has 4 children and cooks at home every meal ( works from and homeschools) and my daughter and her fiance embrace both I decided to borrow theirs for a week . Havent used my oven in months and literally just sent my crockpot to the Thrift Shop . Granted it did require a bit of learning the nuances but they are now trusted helpers , right up there with my cordless vacuum and steam mop . I will say that i much prefer the air fryer with the racks as opposed to the basket .
I love my air fryer. A game changer was buying metal racks to use instead of the metal plate that came with it, because the metal racks let air circulate much better and no more turning or soggy undersides.
My husband bought an air fryer in Aug when he started the carnivore diet, and he loves it! The problem is the element and surrounding area basically cannot be cleaned (in this model), so gunk can build up over time (and therefore smoke). At least the two baskets can go in the dishwasher.
Wait, what did it spell? Haha. I had an air fryer and I liked it, but ending up taking it back. Here’s why: 1. I have a family of 6 so needed something big. Too big 2. It was so big that I left it on my counter and hated having it there. 3. With it being so big, it didn’t cook evenly. 4. I found the oven to do just fine!

That is the best- to borrow one first! I’d actually like to find one secondhand to try and then figure out what exactly I want in one.
An air fryer is amazing. Having an instant pot and air fryer in my house are a must. I almost need them more than an oven. lol
This is what I hear! I just might have to get one… I feel like my kids would be able to use it easily too.
Get the air fryer. I never use the oven anymore and rarely use the microwave. Everything comes out crispy and hot in much less time.

We transferred paint then tried to dispose but they said they needed to see the original label to know exactly what it was to take from us.
That’s good to know! I was referring to keeping small amounts of colors for touch ups and discarding the cans. I probably didn’t make that clear!

Is it etical to donate cristmas stuff in January? I think they don't have the storage to keep things all year.
Some people collect Christmas stuff all year. In fact, some of us love the end of December and January when Christmas stuff goes on sale.
