How to piss everyone off at the gym moving the bench over to cable machine
Lol I was just thinking of that
Yes I was also thinking that. LOL
I think can be done while standing too. But I get ur point
This be me
😂😂😂😂😎😎
Next up: curls in the squat rack
I do this. And have no shame in doing so.
@@ToadMan9000 lol i have before too🤣
@@ToadMan9000 shameless I tell you
@@ToadMan9000you just look like you do
I hope you're at least curling 135 to be taking up the squat rack 😂@@ToadMan9000
Bro is the whole pharmacy. He will grow no matter how he trains
On god. And people will still take advice from these dudes.
Facts 💯 was thinking same thing 😅
😂😂😂
Take Trenbolone then take rope attachment and sit on bench and grow. 😂
And people like you will never grow no matter what because you're hung up on useless things instead of just putting in work 😂
Those sound effects 💀 ☠️ 💀
Fr it’s so dramatic 😂
Lol wtf🪰
Bro is made of the same material as Stretch Armstrong
Directed by Michael Bay 😂
Davis dilley already did it
I do those standing up. Works just as well imo.
Yes + you don't annoy everybody

@marsPriest your not a priest from Mars but a troll from Jupiter
My back hurts when i do it standing tho. I’m only 28, please don’t tell me i’m the only one.
What they don’t tell you in the short is that you will want to be warmed up thoroughly before working in the stretched position. Elbows become a problem really easily if you’re not careful. Begin with some Tricep pushdowns or machine Tricep dips first. Then do this or skullcrushers to create tension in the stretched position.
You know you're training your Tri's hard when they turn green!
Bruh everyone knows this. Every respected UA-cam fitness guy talks about this. It's just a short demonstrating an exercise. He's not going to outline every requirement for how to work out and stay safe.
Good tip. I had a messed up elbow from tricep work and took almost a full year to recover. Skull crushers can mess you up too. Warm up with narrow grip bench.
Easy way to destroy your elbows
@@drxela123the dude literally said "what they don't tell you in the short" not "this influencer won't tell you that..."
Everyone is different . I've been doing this exercise for over 25 years. I like to do them standing. I've gained the most size in my triceps from weighted dips.
Is that how my muscles sound in real life 😅
Can’t believe he’s all natural! Amazing.
Best way to train triceps < 💉
He is correct though. Research has showed this to be so much more effective than other common exercises because of the stretch
@@axlvanaudenhove6564 Literally any & all tricep exercises require lengthened muscle fibers, whereafter the muscle contracts? Aside from isometric holds, overhead tricep movements are more focused on the long head, whilst stimulating all 3 heads, aside from that, there’s nothing special about it.
You forgot 🥪 trenboloni sandwich
Seems I joined the haters section …
@@MKG1977. Glad to have you.
Been doing standing version of this exercise. It's legit .
same, sometimes I do it kneeling as well.
@SupaNoopa that's not what the ladies
Say
@@SupaNoopa i do the same exercise standing and I'm 6.3.
Same. Fitness content creators are running out of ideas...well only a few.
King you dropped this 💉💉💉💉

How original.
🤣😩
He’s not even shredded fr 😊
Do this standing up and lower the rope just below hip level. Works just the same.
(Don’t lower the rope to the very bottom)
I know it's not proper etiquette to have your shirt off in the gym, but I like seeing the muscles move during exercise instruction.
There's something wrong with you
There is NOTHING wrong with you ❤
💗@@maidros85
The gym is empty
I agree
Better have a home gym for this one.
Except for the internal rotation while overhead
Narrow grip bench is the goat
Nah,You have to isolate triceps to grow them.Pull ups and bench is not enough.
Skull crushers with EZ bar superset to close grip bench lights em up
@@77sergiocon skull crushers are the best, but unfortunately they to hard for elbows...If I had to choose one exercise for the rest of my life I will choose cable triceps push downs in diferent variations...
As a natural Lifter I'd suggest only take advice from natural lifters
Why?
Training isn't just magically different for enhanced lifters, the same standard principles apply smh.
@MR12AMAZING except you're wrong. Their feeding efficiency is miles higher, Their response to training stimulus is much higher, Their recovery threshold is much higher, Their ability to make gains from subpar training and diet is many times that of a natural lifter. Now people like Dr Mike Israetel obviously are good sources of information because of their extensive academic research background but training as a natural IS different than training as an enhanced lifter.
If an exercise is effective it doesn't matter if you're on gear or natural. Will the enhanced lifter get better results...likely. However I stand by my original point while acknowledging some of the validity of all commenters. Happy training brothers in iron 👍
@@michaelmiller8455 I get your point. However, I'd much rather take advice from someone who actually relates to my situation. You can go on a cycle with good genetics and have the most garbage training and diet and still grow.
Best trening advice

This is true. This improved my weighted dips to crazy levels.
Great video 🔥
Skull crushers.
For some reason skull crushers destroy my elbows unless I go light enough to not feel my triceps at all whereas overhead cables and machines work wonders for me.
Is this Ryback??
I like these, I am going to try them.
These tips have been very helpful, thank you👍🏻

Dips dips dips!
No buddy, he's doing the long head which dips don't offer
@yusuflorgat4810 yeah cause we all shootin for that mr Olympia..foh
Just do regular triceps extensions with dips 💪
@@marko-182 agreed
@@yusuflorgat4810 of course dips do they just don't target it as much as medial and lateral,
Thanks
Is very good for triceps but is very tough for your elbows
Weighted dips join the club
There's really no such thing as the best way to train the triceps. You want to use various techniques, various angles, various rep ranges, modifiers to get you closer to failure or beyond, and a keen understanding of how to get the tricep in the lengthened position at any angle.
Yup also varies from person to person, build/flexibility etc, there's no 1 best exercise for all
Triceps don't benefit at all from stretch mediated hypertrophy
Isnt "beyond" failure kinda unnecessary
@@placeholder29 nah I could see why if you were doing a 10x10 but if your the avg person you will get the most bang for your buck doing full body 3x a week, mostly compound, and 2-3 sets to failure. If the only goal is hypertrophy sure but the avg person already stops 2-5 reps away from failure because they think that moment is failure. In addition, hypertrophy is not the only goal for many and strength and mental benefits can be best obtained when sets are taken to failure. I do understand your sentiment though, and I personally don't do it every time but I have, and my pupils have, gotten incredible results from to failure training and beyond. I think it also depends on your current food intake in relation to your goal. If on a high carb bulk, especially if you take carbs like a sports drink intra workout, you can still have just as much effort and energy throughout Ime.
@@sandos101 well maybe you read that but I don't see that play out in practice with 100s of people including myself. All muscles can be lengthened from stretch and imo it makes them more immune to injury and get better gains as well as aesthetics from longer muscles. If you study calisthenics athletes they use a lot of full length exercises as well as isometrics and they are strong as hell in real life function. So if it's just about hypertrophy maybe your right, maybe it makes no difference, but it isn't for me and I have gnarly horseshoes naturally at 35 yo
I tore my rotator cuff doing this exercise.
Ive seen a few dozen best exersizes for triceps 💪🏿 i figure if i do a set of them all ill be the tricepatops king
I think close grip bench is the best, from experience
Oh my elbows are hurting just watching this....
My shoulders be screaming
@@Eat_My_Shortz my shoulders are shot

Primary function of the tricep is elbow extension. Literally any exercise that meets this function is equally effective. But some movements are safer than others
It’s possibly the second best. I think dips are king

Thank you to whoever made this video.
I agree on this.. I've been doing this and I'm seeing better results on my triceps.
Watch them shoulders
Ditch the bench and just do it standing
Too tall
Get a little core action standing as well!! Go from one or both knee if you are to tall… yes I have a solution for everything!
The videos of this guy are awesome!
Top tier exercise with any weight… these and dips might be all you need
Be careful. I do skull crushers with 180 pounds 4 sets of 8/10 & 170 for close grip overhead French press-but this exercise made my do a tear in my tricep with not much weight. I regret it and it’s not needed. Problem is you better keep your triceps locked the entire time until the rope isn’t in your hands. See what happens is when you grab it and when you’re done your triceps are relaxed until you’re set in position and that’s how it got me.
I use 240 pounds. It's light to me. 70 reps typically
Don't worry, we don't ego lift, use full ROM and aren't on a full pharmacy.
Doing this exercise for a long time (and my buddy does it too) and we never faced any problem since we control the weight and use full ROM, especially the stretch aspect.
Stay natty
Preach it brother!
@@alptuna84 best way too be
To build your triceps you gotta be that dude who sits in the middle of the gym floor in everybody’s way 💪🏾😎…
Thank you. I'll try this today.
I hate that AI voice.
Over head for triceps is so underrated fr
I would prefer the dumbbell variation since it is a lot easier to set up
can do the same thing while standing very effective though 💯agree
Whole gang together ! Great pod fellas 👏🏼
Perfect explanation, thank you.
Excellent workout exercise
Heres the big show
Everything for myself is on point, I’m just trying to get an income. I’ve been in SMMA but no success yet, but I’m also looking into high ticket sales.
I do this standing up, saves dragging a bench around the gym
Good explanation and illustration
Very clear & helpful...
Yeah man these wreck my elbows, had to give up on this one.
Standing is better on my back for these.
The rope it self is amazing for the triceps.
Good stuff
Says how, compound movement like close grip bench way better
Man I need more of these videos. Very informative 💯
That lil twist towards the end is everything, you really feel it
This kinda workout for when the gym ain’t packed like late at night or the early am
Awesome
Best way is to do a variety of exercises that get your triceps burning and pumped. It's different for each person. I like cable rope extensions, cable straight bar pushdown and either Barbell or dumbbell skullcrushers after my push workout. It will be different for other people. There is no one best way to train any muscle
Dude looks great! Great form and body man in vid!
I usually do these standing up
He’s seriously amazing
I can't wait for skull crushers in the leg press machine. The angle you get is the shit.
I think one arm at a time would be better for the stretching portion. I do it w one dumbbell and go up and down, not front to back, but over my head and try to touch my other shoulder w dumbbell. Slightly leaning towards that shoulder. When you tire, use your head to push arm at the bicep.
Just stand up like everyone
This can be done standing. The best thing for your triceps is..
Close grip bench press....
Same thing in press up from
And dips
Thank you for sharing this important message with me.. I love working out my Triceps It's one of my favorite muscles 💪💪 to build up.. Thanks for sharing this.. awesome video 🤩🙏 thanks.

Very interesting and very informative 👍 👌 👏
I keep seeing so many skull crusher variations, hard to stick to one
This man had my attention at lat veins
I rather use dumbbells but I have used cable machines for this particular exercise successfully regardless..... Give it your best shot and see what happens 😎
Adding the stability of a bench against your back would allow you to use more weight
This makes your tris huge, I do it standing cos I don't do aabs
you can do them with free weights, standing as well. You'll get just as sore, and just as pumped.
Lat veins are crazy work
Next up DL in the DB section.
Wrist position with tricep extension does not provide extra tension, the movement just keeps you at the end range longer
the sound effects were higher effort than recording the video
Athlean x showed me a version of this but without the bench you do the same while standing but with a slightly diff grip
unless you warm the elbows up beforehand you'll run risk of injury doing this
Looks like a good exercise.
Why is this the best?
Can this be done with a resistance band instead? It looks like a pretty sweet workout for triceps but I do most of my workouts at home
