That would be a nice remake of this game. If the player would be able to work around the broken elevators or maybe repairable items, i'd surely play this version!
1:50 I always called that the ball crumpling scream. Because if someone just grabbed your nads and started crumpling them, that's the sound you'd make.
The best ever game in history. Real pathos...real scare, real suspance...all in a few bit. And this video show how could be a new chapter of Impossible mission.
indeed. imagine that after the ending of both games ,the towers are just left there in decay, but then the AI wakes up again and manages to move and turn on those robots again
I wanted to say that is one of the best remix of the c64 games I've ever seen, but I see that a lot of people've already said it. Anyway, it's the best remix of a c64 game I've ever seen.
I loved this game so much even then the first time i had it in tape was in 1990, so 6 years later when it came out. But combined with this dystopian touch (what i also really like) can't describe how cool it is! But how the hell i have missed this video for 13 years? I was searching for IM 1 videos many times, but this video never came up! Good work!
I know I'm very late but still very well made :) I was brought here after finding my 2007 Nintendo DS version of this game and having a nostalgia trip, I think this is one of the old 1980's versions of the game but it still looks great with brilliant editing. Thanks for sharing this
It would be awesome to revisit this game in this state, perhaps instead of trying to find Alvin, trying to find something he left behind that would be his failsafe if he was ever captured such that the world would still end. Would be good if the failsafe was a penguin.
Having played this game in the mid '80s in elementary school and died countless times to falling deaths, robots, and those scary black spheres........Seeing that hallway at 1:27 was horrifying.
That first part reminds me of the game idea of "PYST". It was a funny concept of what the island of MYST would look like after millions of people played that game. Funny stuff. Great video BTW. :)
it's 0:50 ..... I just stopped the video while laughing as hell, to write this comment. As a fan of IM on C64 since day #1 (almost 40 years ago), I consider this video legit, canon, and worth to show in schools, worldwide. Thank you for this ! Now I'm gonna watch the rest of the video if the elevator works again...
Yes, we can be sure of that. Here's a music video about Denis Caswell, that includes my animations. I'm sure he saw that! ua-cam.com/video/ZrolYVV4U98/v-deo.html
Astonishing, enormous, phenomenal! A giant hit! I LOVE this! The idea itself is ingenious, and sadly realistic. Yes, the world comes to the end with mess-up and meaningless graffiti tags. And the drinking scientist, I'm still laughing. So you, guys, are Hungarians. Congratulation. This is the reason of the sound effect from the Scarabaeus? :-)

Professor Atombender really let the place go after alcoholism ruined his life.
:D :D :D :D
It’s a testament to how memorable this simple game was that this short movie exists. I love that someone took the time to make this!
Have you even played the game? Not too simple at all.
@@johnaustin209 Especially in 1984, compared to the other games back then, it was really complicated.

As a big fan of this game and being one of my most golden childhood memories, i really liked this post apocalyptic IM1 video! Great work!
Thank you!
Man, how on earth did you make this?!?? Amazing! And dystopic and depressing! But most of all: Amazing!
Thanks for this! cheers, Per, Denmark
Awesome.. I especially loved the BSOD on the computer terminal..
BASIC BSOD
Needs to be renamed "After 2020"
Still, it's after 2011.
Looks more like after 2016!
has made the me very happy.. i stayed a while...stayed FOREVER!!!!

also, it's the best remix of a C64 game I have ever seen.
Fantastic work! This needs more recognition!
Best of the Best of the Best! ! !
Excellent idea and great video!.. good times! Congratulations!
Agree !
That's incredible. How on earth did you do that? Tremendous work indeed.
I used to play it in the childhood, but never ended the game.
Cool fancy remake :D
gratula a vidihez blaster! ilyenkor vagyok büszke, hogy ismerhetlek (igaz vagy 2000 éve nem találkoztunk :D)

They should remake Impossible Mission for modern hardware---it's got a lot of potential!
It's available for the Nintendo Switch, but not like this...
Could it be made as a mod for GZDoom?
You should make this kind of videos more about Impossible Mission, these are funny =)
Nagyon fain !
Simán kéne csinálni egy ilyen gamét, valami rejtélyes háttérsztorival...bár így is elég rejtélyes !!!
:)

Would be good if the failsafe was a penguin.
This is utterly beautiful!!!!!
Wow!!! Fantastic work!!!
That is super-brilliant. CONGRATULATIONS!
This is so epic. I would totally play this. I'm a huge fan of the C64 original.
Brilliantly executed!
it's like a creepypasta.
Okay, this is the best thing I've seen in C64 Videos. Great Job Buddy!
Good stuff, the original and this one as well.
Having played this game in the mid '80s in elementary school and died countless times to falling deaths, robots, and those scary black spheres........Seeing that hallway at 1:27 was horrifying.
great idea for a 8-bit horror survival game, dude!
You did a pretty funny and nice job. Cool graphics. Cheers for sharing/showing. I really like that. Thanx and cheerio Toni
I loved the broken checkerboard machine that plays pitches out of tune!

This is brilliant! I wonder if Denis Caswell has seen it yet 😂

Damn! Great work!
Great video!!!
Really awesome! May I ask how you made it?
Thank You! I used After Effects for compositing, FL Studio for music, Photoshop for graphic elements.
This is awesome!!!!!!!!!
Most Excellent!
That was seriously cool.
Can somebody make these kind of clips more? This one is funny 😁
Great stuff!!!!!!!!!!!
Epyx Failure. That hurt.

Very disturbing, well done...
Like some acid trip went bummer ;)
So awesome!! Love this game!
Very creative
That shizzzz was hilarious!
Very nice!
Absolutely genial !!!!!!!
Of course it wouldn't be an impossible mission movie without the aaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Lmao
Awesome, this is a unique. And the sound fits good in, mega thumb up ;)
01:56 is scream ripped from beach head II?
The Impossible Mission scream and Beach Head 2. scream are very similar. (I riped from IM.)
Nice Idea 👍
It's now 2022 and I completely forgot why we were worried about 2011 in 2010 :-#
This video made me LAUGH OUT LOUD! I'm sure it required a lot of work.
I'm glad the video made you laugh.
@kisslas : Eddig a CCS64-et használtam, telefonomra pedig a Frodo-t. Sajnos egyik sem működik tökéletesen, amit meg is értek.. gondolom nincs tökéletes emulátor.
