Awesome video again. Thank you Lance. I am so pleased Redbull has finally seen the light! Thank you for all the awesome videos this year. We love them all. Merry Christmas 🎄 to you and the Dads army crew. Take care and hope to see you out there one day. I will be the slow one as you fly past.
I was there on Sunday. Great fun Messed up that tight off camber left turn too, nearly threw it down the bank. Then went over the bars down that really steep bit later on. Sore but happy
Congratulations on your Sponsor, you deserve it! I wish i could enjoy the New Zealand summer with you guys . Think we are in the same age^^. Keep it up and have fun! Greetings from the winter in Germany :-( Edit: I Call CocaCola for you, think they will be your next ;-)
We are so lucky in NZ at the moment. The weather is good and currently are Covid free. Hopefully by next Summer in Germany the situation for you will also be a lot better.
Haha awesome I ride with a similar bunch of guys though not as often, we are all 58-60 age group but no where near Dads Army skilled sadly, grade 3 and 4 are our limits. Those jumps look awesome and jumping like that is one of my ambitions, sadly though I lack the kahunas. We are all Ebike riders except one fitter old bastard. Loving the videos 440 looks awesome we must get up there some day. Have binged watched since 11pm ,its now 1.45 so signing off though feel I could watch all night Cheers lads keep it up.
Glad to have you on the team and pleased you like the videos. I enjoy riding my bike but most of all it is the fun we have as a group. We feel and behave like kids and who doesn't want that.
Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year to you and Dad's army. Great vids all year - thanks. My 4 month old Merida e160 500SE had a Shimano E7000 60nm catastrophic drive failure after 1250km, 50% on trails. Shimano supplied new under warranty. Love the bike, is Shimano drive failure common?
Merry Christmas to you also. I have had little to do with the Shimano motors. I have had heard of failures with all the motors (well Brose, Bosch, Shimano and Yamaha) I don't this Shimano failures are especially common though. I think the sport is in its infancy and failures are almost to be expected. The big thing is how the companies respond to these failures.
It was my best day ever. Thanks so much for letting me ride with the Dads Army. Hope to do it again soon.
Glad you enjoyed the day. Your speed was pretty good. When we stopped you weren't too far behind.

I'm climbing up the hill like a NORMAL PERSON :) :) :) have a great one enjoyed the videos
A normal person might be a stretch. Have a great Christmas.
I watched this video in 1.5x speed, which almost makes it look like you guys are fast riders.
I had already sped the footage up by 2x. Will try 3 for next video
To Lance & the dads army great content this year, a very happy Christmas to you all and more great content in 21 👍👍
Thanks John. I just hope I am not making anymore lockdown videos.
@@bestdayevermtb2 Me too 👍

You got a sponsor finely

That new section was built for the DH race earlier in the year, i unknowingly came flying down there and almost came off on that steep section.
Yes we just came upon it most unexpectedly. Was dry buy I imagine it would be sketchy when wet.
Another brilliant video - made me laugh as always. Question - what's the ratio of flats vs clipless pedals in Dad's Army?
Thanks for that. About 50:50 I think.
@@bestdayevermtb2 - thanks 👍🏻
First and sick vid
zeroed make some sick bikes might have to get one
Must admit the katipo would be cool.
I was there earlier today was really sad that didn’t get to see you I went at 10 this morning. But love the content keep up the great work.
Hope you enjoyed your day.. thanks for the support.
Epic day, shame I couldnt make it.
Maybe another time
i Know that puffing all to well..

Is 440 about the same size with Skyline QT?
Not 100% sure. I think Queenstown has more elevation drop and more trails but overall not a huge difference.
Love your videos - not sure why you don't have more female viewers!!
Thanks Maree. Maybe my ugly face scares them off.
