Excellent effort bruv ✊🏾👊🏾💪🏾. When you learn to draft more and utilise more tactics so you don’t show your abilities too early, you’ll be a formidable force and will win many, many races. You definitely have a massive engine so all you need is experience 👊🏾👌🏾
GG! Some of the best advice I've heard regarding racing is you gotta play a game with yourself of acheiving the lowest possible avg power for the 99% of the race leading up to the sprint. Look at it like lowest avg power wins the race ;) reap the benefits of the draft, pedal efficiently and then rip it open
Nice work brother!! I would recommend a towel over the top of your bike. the sweat will make everything corrode really fast! keep up the good work! fitness gain is a slow and steady process!!
New follower. Couple of things I’ve observed: -You’re leading most of the race, don’t, sit in people’s wheel at the front group -Keep a powerup for the end sprint -use downhills for a quick recovery break (anything gradient -4/5% stop pedalling let your body weight get you there) -your HRM is iffy, get a new one they aint all that expensive -I might be wrong but based on sound and lack of any airflow signs on your video it looks like you aren’t using a fan, if you don’t, get one, they are a game changer. Got a question: which sweatband is that? I sweat ridiculous amounts from the head and regular nike ones are soaked within 15m Don’t give up, your physical capabilities are way up there, you’ll know how to give it your all and don’t shy away from it either! You’ll be able to win races in your category and above with the right approach! Looking forward to more content! Ride on!
@@vashizm I appreciate the sub! I have a big fan on the floor so the airflow is good. Just order a new HRM(the one recommended was pricey but it’s all good) I cut a hole in a Specialized Prime series thermal beanie And made a sweatband out of it(it works) And good looking on the advice, Next race I’ll sit in for about 85% of the race then go for it. I’ll be uploading Stage 3 on Monday. I also have the steering but never use it thinking drafting didn’t mean much on zwift but I see I was wrong
You got a great workout despite bad racing tactics! Just based on what I see here, you have both the aerobic capacity and the sprint to compete at a much higher level. Like 650+ racing score. Zwift racecraft takes time, though you can speed the learning curve by trying to implement advice of more experienced racers like what you see here
Awesome effort. It would be fun to ride with you. Everyone already said everything I would recommend. I will add you and Zwift and we can work together for a W for you. Great job
Wow was surprised to see how powerful you were with 314 average Watts which is crazy, your Heart rate monitor seems bad though….i use Garmins version and I find it very accurate and very fast…for 10mins yours was giving some mad readings but I see you adjusted it but still reacted very slowly 😅. Great cycling 👊🏽, we use KM’s not miles and I think mentally it makes such a difference as I couldn’t believe how long a mile was again 😂
Man gear are you riding at to get that much speed and power? I got a Zwift ride and i can only ride at like gear 14. I know it’s probably different from the bike gear
If you stay in the pack through the first flat section then punched up a climb then did the going for broke, you would have won. To ride off the front without putting in a sprint is not easy. You doing 4wkg on the front means everyone else can do 3.3wkg and just sit on your wheel. Still….. great to watch😎
Just get a Garmin watch and broadcast your heart rate. Simple, reliable, accurate, no straps, no batteries to change and you can get a forerunner 55 for under $100.
@@GAMED0G I also acquired the Polar a year ago. My last 3 Garmins either gave up on me or worked when they wanted to or were only recognized once out of two. Since then, with the Polar, it's a whole other world of precision. Otherwise, as for the race itself, you should have stayed in the group and taken advantage of the slipstream to lead an attack in the second part. You are very strong, you manage to maintain a high wattage for a long time. No doubt that in the sprint, with freshness, you would have had a very good place. Very enjoyable as a video.
You have sheer power and good endurance but you are eating way too much wind, no need to be at the front as much as you. No-one wins a race for being in P1 with 9 miles to go.
bro. Why are you leading at the front of the pelton? You took so much wind and wasted so much energy. It's like you are trying to control the race for your teammate or something .... Are you doing a threshold work out? Or are you racing to win? If you had stay in the draft of the pelton, you might have energy in the end to do somehting.
My HR went above 200bpm while doing a few threshold efforts but I still didn't barf. I think I was holding around 230 watts for 20 minutes and my HR stayed in the 200s for the last 3 minutes.

I was impressed as hell! That’s some old school “F*** you! I’ll go to the front and kick your ass!” Stuff. Love it. Keep it coming.
You literally weren't joking when you said vomit warning. 208bpm heart rate sheesh. The maximum I have ever got to was 205bpm
To be honest I think my HR monitor was reading high. But still 🤮 at the very end😂😂😂

You need to draft. Too much wasted power.
I think you could have won draft until the last mile or two, but to be in the front this early was not a good strategy.
Yea will be switching it up for upcoming races
