Great content, very informative without the car reviewers from well funded channels that don’t really offer real life and useful information. Really appreciate real reviews from owners. Keep the EV content coming. Few suggestions on videos, weekly usage, how long to charge at home, how long to charge at fast charger, load capacity, acceleration test etc. create a small trove of content and release weekly in the same day. Good luck pal.

P.p.s I’m talking about Timelapse of charging. And also, when it comes to capacity, use office boxes for example for reference.

I've just bought one of these recently. Seems great so far, although I won't be going on long journeys very often. Really nice relaxing drive.

Guys i just upgraded to 70kwh. Nissan leaf 2013 AZE0. it has 4s1p cells x 4 and 24 modules. 190ah. seems great no rapidgate. i think around 2000 cycles. has 450km range with ac highway speeds. Added weight around 120kg. So has to upgrade all the suspension components, brakes and tune the motor

Good information here, can you expand on daily charge for power at home vs supermarket, and RUC charges

It is hard to find such unbiased reviews on a 2017 model, with the 40KW motor!...but this one is frustrating, as I can hardly HEAR this guy talking!...I personally like the gen-one styling, over the more "modern", but bland-looking 2018 "look" of the vehicle. To me, the 40KW motor is definitely the best choice, although the newest 62KW motors do provide stronger "performance", if that if what one wants in an EV. I would consider buying a Gen-One model, and switching out the old motor for a 62KW...but here in the USA, there seem to be very few shops that even deal with that!...And I have no idea what such a switch would cost. Likely, too much!

This guy is driving a 2018 model!...not a 2017...at least, that is what we see in the USA...a 2017 is a Gen One model...his is the newer Gen Two!

The gen one model 2010-2015 uses 24 kWh battery 2016 upgraded to a 30 kWh battery. You said "40KW Motor" Gen 2 was introduced in 2018 has a 40 kWh battery The Leaf+ was introduced 2022 with 62 kWh. Nissan did increase the motor size with some improvements. As far as switching battery packs it can be done but its very specialised and very expensive.

275 kilometers seems not enough for me 😢. I prefer sticking to gas unless there will be an ev with a true range of at least 500 kilometers and an affordable price.

It's all depend of your daily riding me I have 450 and it way more than enough per day ... maybe you should move closer to your work space that will be smart

I hear you. It’s getting there. I’m still seeing a lot of excess markup by those selling, repairing, importing ev’s. The market is fast maturing.

What’s your daily usage like where you need 500km per day? Do you live in Australia and travel between towns or something 😂

Just get a plug-in hybrid then you get the best of both worlds. EV range for the city and gas for longer trips.
