Love these cars, so beautiful, great color combination and this one is pristine. Thanks for filming it! I'm really enjoying the little test drives that accompany these videos now.
In my opinion, 50's cars were and still are the perfect cruising cars. They're smooth and comfortable, but they also have plenty of power to spare, and my god, that V8 rumble...
One of the best looking convertible models by Ford. Love that colour scheme..... Years ago so many people were painting convertibles red but these days people have realised that they are worth more original spec. This two tone with the pastel green looks truly beautiful and very much of the time.
I had a 1959 Ford convertible just like this one, though a different color, when I was 17. I paid $95 for it. While I had it, I put a 312 ci Thunderbird Special engine in it with a 3 speed. It ran great. Take notice how the guy has his arm out the window. These cars had a flat edge at the top of the door that made it very comfortable to rest your arm. Sold it for $150. If we only knew.
Very cool -I was just given a classic today too have a few things to do to it but I was given a 1957-59 Skagit Sportster Boat 14 ft I found out it was one made from Guy Lombardo the band conductor & Race car driver Thought that was cool got it for free from Kijiji web -My uncle had one of these they were a gorgious car always was a ford man .
I'm not a big fan of continental kits either. I assume this particular car came with it originally though. It sure is a beauty either way. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful colors, love the stock interior too. Should have stayed with the stock air cleaner & valve cover colors under the hood. I'd also ditch that rear cont. kit & instead add a new Ford hood emblem. Your colors are all gone on this one. Adding the RARE "flying eclipse" hood ornament would be a nice touch too. Good luck with the sale. =)
boy does that bring back memorys I use to have a 59 convertable mine was white and salmond in color I stuffed a 272 in it with a three speed taking off was a slow go but when you got her up too speed she would cruse
Even more beautyfull than the last one fairlane awsome cars these cars from another grand looking always No makes Them better USA thanks jeff and Jordan for this video
Going to put up a vid soon still have to find the metal tag might have located it on google seen a few other boats that are close looking we`ll see have a great one .
LOL with that axle ratio the engine has probably only spun a few times since new. Great looker and the Motor was great , I remember pulling the breather cap off while they were running to check for blowby, cant do that anymore.
This was my car! Same color combo, without continental kit. It drove like a dream and was a real cruiser on the highway. Makes me wish I had it today, especially when I see what it is worth! Such a beauty.
More like 10 sec,..see Tom Machell's report in Mechanics Illustrated from '59. I have a copy if you wish it. My dad's '59 weighed in at 4025lbs with a full tank with PS/PB, Cruiseamatic, R&H and rode heavy down the road. Quality increased a lot from the '57/'58 which was necessary to keep up with Chevy. I still have the original red/white steering wheel in super clean shape and horn ring as well.
beautiful land yacht! The dash board is screamin' oldschool. very nice.
That is my favorite year for Ford they had beautiful lines and chrome. They won the car of the year award for 59 as the most stylish car.
It really is a beauty, glad you like it. Thanks for watching!
I really like that dash too. It's a great summer cruiser. Thanks for checking it out my friend.
Honestly, I prefer them without the continental kits too. This one sure is a beauty though. Thanks for watching!
My dad thought the continental kit was wimpy, and it could only be a standard transmission 3 on the tree. We loved that car!
Thanks for taking a look!
You're right, this is the 300 hp 352. Thanks for taking a look!
Love these cars, so beautiful, great color combination and this one is pristine. Thanks for filming it! I'm really enjoying the little test drives that accompany these videos now.
Glad it brought back some memories....thanks for taking a look! They really are beautiful cars..I like the T-birds as well.
It really is a great old cruiser. Thanks for taking a look my friend.
Those are neat looking boats, sounds like a fun project. That's cool that it has a celebrity history too.
It really is a beauty...thanks for watching!
Thanks for taking a look at it!
Beautiful! I like the way you include all the specs that most sellers seem oblivious to, especially the axle ratio! My favorite combo!
In my opinion, 50's cars were and still are the perfect cruising cars. They're smooth and comfortable, but they also have plenty of power to spare, and my god, that V8 rumble...
It really is a fun car to cruise around in. Thanks for taking a look!

I have seen plenty of them with that, that's for sure. Thanks for watching!
The last of the fabulous 50s fords

I had one just like it, without continental kit, but same color scheme. I loved it!
Thanks for watching Jos!
If I only had so much extra money I'd be broke buying up all these beauties. And Jeff, this one sure is a beauty.
Wow! I totally forgot about looking at those front fender "gun sight" ornaments from back when I was ~6 years old.
Nice car … Luv that "Indian Turquoise" color!
I love any Fords from these years!
I'm not a big fan of continental kits either. I assume this particular car came with it originally though. It sure is a beauty either way. Thanks for watching!

Even with the 352, it's no drag machine, but you can tell it would cruise down the highway all day long.
They were making some beautiful cars then.
That's very true...a sports car this is not. It sure is a beautiful cruiser though. Thanks for watching!
AWESOME FORD, THANK YOU FOR SHARING
No, I don't work for them. They are just nice enough to let me film the cars. Thanks for watching!
Even more beautyfull than the last one fairlane awsome cars these cars from another grand looking always No makes Them better USA thanks jeff and Jordan for this video
My dad had this exact car. He sold it when my mom had my sister. I remember it.. I remember the roof was very loud when it opened and retracted.

nice car to pick for a vid. You see more the Skyliners than the Sunliners. It has the optional sun-ray hubcaps.

Jesus christ, I love that car so much.
My first car. But all white exterior
good drive 👌👌
Roughly 11-12 secs would be my guess. It has 300 gross hp, but it's a pretty huge car.
More like 10 sec,..see Tom Machell's report in Mechanics Illustrated from '59. I have a copy if you wish it.
